“good selection of products, shame there is no cafe.
the store is clean and items are easy to find, the staff are also pleasant.
my only criticism would be that it is annoying when you come in first thing, and staff are always in the way stacking shelves
it would be better if this was done *before* the store opens
edit to add- I think its a shame that this store is now inaccessible to those, who rely on public transport. Macc town centre is rapidly becoming a thing of the past.”

“Left my card in a card reader and returned 15 minutes later only to find that a very kind Lucy H had put it in lost property.
Asked if I could leave a tip but was advised they cannot take gratuity.
This quite possibly saved me a few quid and it was beyond the line of duty. Thanks young lady, I appreciate this very much.”
“I don’t recommend it! We have Covid. Placed an order for delivery last night and it never came. Then they said would deliver 12-2 today, never came. No one answering local coop phone number. Made call to the main line and the man was rude and then just said the order was cancelled. He wasn’t interested when I said we have Covid and are isolating. We never cancelled it. Now left with no milk etc for another 24 hours. We tried to use our local shop which we have always supported. Maybe with more local competition coming soon, they will get better at this service.”

“A perfectly good shop but someone has decided that the layout needed to be changed so several aisles have had all the stock rearranged - this is very frustrating and means I have to spend extra time just to find things. I don’t go to a supermarket to browse, I want to go in get what I need and leave as quickly as possible.
Someone in a suit with a clipboard needs to think of something better to do with their time!”

“I went to macclesfield Sainsbury's today. 26/11/23. I had to return my coat because the zip had failed. Of course I was very disappointed But I really wanted the exact someone I looked on line and they had sold out. So I asked Louise at the clothing department To find the nearest store where they have them She phoned a few places and finally find one. They are holding it for me and hopefully getting it today or tomorrow I think Louise was very kind, helpful and patient and very calm, sorting it all out for me. Thank you so much Louise for helping me. ?”
