“Just like any other B&Q, you will find most of the stuff you need in this shop for your household projects . And if you need assistance to locate something, the staff are ready to assist you. There is also dedicated entrance for the trades men, enough parking spaces including spaces for people with disabilities.”

“Nice light and airy store. First time of visiting but standard Aldi layout.This store is quite large, and the aisles are lovely and wide, it was also very clean and the staff were all helpful and polite. Nice store to visit.”

“I think if I had to choose between Home Bargains and B&M, I would go for HB, except their garden section is lacking, but for all other items HB is definitely cheaper.It also has better refrigerated food in the bigger stores.P.S...... HB butter is currently the cheapest you can buy ANYWHERE.”

“Pretty decent little store but not the best with a buggy, I've taken out a few displays and been on the receiving end of head shakes and tutting from pensioners when I've blocked an aisle.”

“Travelling on narrowboat, needed some Amazon deliveries, stayed for a few days awaiting delivery, shop was great, not just for supplies, allowed me to get non Amazon locker stuff delivered. Good community spirit. Helped me out so much.”

“i would recommend their service at bargain prices for whatever your looking for, or thayle be something else available at bargain prices, so as I've already mentioned, when you're passing stop to look around their shop, as I've mentioned thay are most likely to have in stock whatever you are looking for.”

“Always fresh and if you shop smart relatively cheap, plenty of affordable fresh options and a brilliant food to go section, if there is a sandwich that they usually stock and is out of stock ask one of the staff around the section and they will make one up for you, usually all the staff are very pleasant and helpful, my go to supermarket.”

“Thank you to my Tesco delivery man who got my shopping to me this week despite the main road closure to my street. He parked as close as he could but not that near and then trundled all my shopping to me on a trolley. Greatly appreciated thank you?”

“More expensive than the big 6 supermarkets but much more convenient to shop in and customer service has been good 99% of the time I have used it.
Normally pretty well stocked regardless of the time of day.

Free (if limited) parking, assuming you don't mind the idiot van drivers who just decide to leave their vehicle anywhere whilst they shop.

Has an ATM that often doesn't work (I realise this is outside the shop's remit but it is their bank.. lol.... )

Bottom line it is a useful shop to have for a small shop within walking distance of home (if the weather is right).

“i come here often and it's a really good store for buying lunch and the odd grocery here and there. you never see anyone on the tills, and there are only two self checkouts (one being cash+card and the other card only), so queues can form pretty easily. overall a good store, decently priced and good choices available!!!”

“Recently moved into the village and have found the staff in the store extremely friendly as well as the locals that go in. We enjoy the short stroll to the shop and so much better than having get the car to go elsewhere.”

“It features the typical high prices of a small convenience store, but it's good for occasions when the Aldi opposite is closed. The people who work there are generally very friendly and they sell Wright's pies now that the bakery has closed, which is an added bonus.”

“Faultless service, staff are wonderful and the deliveroo service is exceptional too, order, and 15 mins later, your food is at your door. Some other co-ops take forever with deliveroo”

“Nice to see little section of oriental delight that is locally and convenient. Be creative with full meal. I find that, if I simmer the dim sum or fishballs, it double it size. ( 10minites ) Then I added pack of noodles. And any veg I can fine, what water left I poach a crack or 2 ege separate or last thing I do in the same pot with the noodle.

With wonton pastry, similar to a pasta sheet, wrapped any fillings of choice then boil in water for 10 minuts till it wrinckly floating at top. Wonton soup or just eat with choice of dipping sauce.”
