“I can only comment on collecting a DHL parcel I had delivered here instead of my home address. The shop worker was friendly/helpful and sorted my parcel out within minutes. Will use again for a local collection point.”

“This Aldi is fine, same as any other Aldi I have visited, good range of cheap produce, and plenty of vegan options available in the freezer section, and also vegan treats like chocolate etc. The staff here are polite. Be warned though that it is on a busy road which can be difficult to pull out onto during peak hours.”

“Great shop just wish they would sort the check out which are very hit and miss not the staffs fault there just isnt enough of them due to greedy companies wanting massive profits.”

“Great shop and staff but the oatcakes which used to be really good are now awful and same goes for the sandwiches. You know those terrible bacon bits type oatcakes, well they're those and they taste really bad.Still a great shop though.”

“What a lovely, clean shop! Best Lidl I have been so far. I must praise a shop assistant who was working on the tills. Kez was so nice and bubbly and in such contagious good mood. She has made my shopping experience a good one. Will continue doing my shopping here :) thank you”

“I went in and became a millionaire and lets say, felt my package increase in gorth and length.I developed the ability levitate up to 3 foot above the earth. I could speak to small mammals and see through thin amounts of cardboard.I look forward to returning to again increse my abilities.”

“I've never been to a bad Aldi. It's all about that middle aisle. Like a lucky dip where you may come across a great pair of cheap walking boots, a reduced multi pack of toilet rolls, a years supply of Clarityn or leads to jump start your car. Everything you need if you're a swinger going camping for the weekend. (Which, by the way, I'm not)”

“I don't buy a great deal from here, but why I shop from here is that nowhere else sells the few things the I do buy..They're exclusive in the things that I buy, which is well worth the visit, keep up the stock...”

“Bigger than our local one but the layout was pretty much the same.
Good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Bakery and other home essentials were prominent.
A pleasant shopping trip.”

“Want to say a big thank you to the lovely young lady on staff today in Tunstall store and a couple of lovely lady shoppers, I had some devastating news over the phone, and the support from these customers and staff was above and beyond. Thank you all ♥️”

“Always a great place for a bargain with plenty of offers and a well stock store. The young staff that work in this store and are mainly the ones who work on the checkouts are very polite and well mannered, it's a very pleasant shopping experience and I hope they are recognized for this. In general all the staff are very helpful”

“Friendly staff free car park. Always got what you need and a good range of drinks. You can normally collect fresh oatcakes in the evening if you didn't make it to the shop”

“Aldi is a family favourite for the low priced foods and the vast amount of choice available in the stores. More and more Aldis seem to be popping up in many locations which again shows just how popular the stores are. Always plenty of parking available on the large car parks. Sometimes slightly over crowded which causes long queues at the check outs but i find visiting the stores later in the day makes it easier and much quicker shopping trip.”

“I like it. It does cashback at the till, which I find the safest way of getting cashback, bearing in mind Tesco have stopped cashback at their main tills, which says alot about Tesco”

4.4Superb20 Reviews

“Usual supermarket experience but don't bother with scan and shop as I've been stopped for checking 4 times in 6 visits. Don't think I look that suspicious (!), but there does seem to be a permanent purge on. Presumably the system is so open to abuse, it needs to be constantly monitored.”

“Staff there are super friendly. Accidentally left my bank card there and they saved it for me. They also on another occasion when I'd left my carrier bags at home saved my basket of shopping and more than that, they placed the frozen food back in the freezer so it didn't melt. Can't ask for more than that!”

“Brilliant little tesco, especially when it's a bank holiday! We went here on a bank holiday Monday after realising Tesco Extra in Longton was shut - we managed to get 95% of things we needed, including veg and cat treats! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to do a simple tesco shop :)”

“Nice friendly staff,
Shop can get busy on peak hours so try to avoid them if you are a social hermit and don't like people-ing.
Queues can get quite big but workers will open more tills where possible.
Always happy to help you.

The one draw back to this place is the amount of times there have been shoplifters getting kicked out of the store causing a scene or damage. That's nit a problem with the store itself though. The other downside is the amount of people pretending to be homeless that sit outside the doors begging for money. When I say pretending to be homeless I will clarify this..
If you wait until the end of the day when the shops are shutting you will see them often meeting up together, getting changed into their high end gear , discussing the money they made that day and throwing all items of food/drinks in the bin and jumping into a car and driving off together. It's almost like homeless is a business and a ring of people working together.
Seen it many times . First time I saw it was shocked but now its just a common occurance”

“I was taken ill when I was in Tesco I have never met such wonderful people. A very pretty young lady got me a seat and made me a beautiful cup of tea and stayed with me until I could continue shopping 2 gentlemen came and checked I was ok. These people were fantastic to me and when I was ok and checked out a another pretty young lady checked me out and packed my bags for me. The staff in Audley Tesco could not do enough to help me. I was on my own and I was treated so well by these people I can never ever thank them enough. I love our Tesco I feel safe in there as I have panic attacks I use to have my best friend who went everywhere with me because of my panic attacks. Sadly she passed away exactly 12months ago. So now o have to go places alone. This is a very very big thing for me but I feel safe in Audley Tesco because the staff are so compassionate and caring.”

“Co-op has put in every good one-way system every single time I go there the one-way system is being used correctly and on the inner calm it constantly reminds us about why we are taking the precautions the workers at Co-op are extremely helpful but there should be a couple more workers stacking the shelves or something so people can go up and ask for help the Co-op has sanitising stations at the entrance and exit of the shop the Co-op always has great deals and offers on on enticing more of the products to be sold and helping people who don't have enough moneyOverall the co-op in the Meir has great customer service and I wish it keeps doors open for a very very very very very very also you can't forget very very very long time I'm I would be lost without itXoxo”
