Very friendly and courteous staff. Motorbike section busy and understaffed (staff absence) hence a 15 minute wait to hand over my bike keys for a tyre change and a service. Unfortunately the wrong tyre had been supplied so wasn't fitted. Very good amenities for customers awaiting their vehicles.

Had a saftey recall on my 320d today. As It came up on the I drive that it was leaking bmw assist told me they could pick my car up from my place of work.I booked it in to be picked up on Monday 8 to 11am. 11am came and went. I phoned bmw assist and they had no record on there system that I've pre booked.They eventually came late then missed my slot appointment. Told me it was my fault for handing the keys over to the recovery truck. So I suppose it was my fault!Was told I would be done in 1 day, I phoned up once they received the car and there now telling me could take up to a week! For a egr coolent replacement.Never in my life have I ever experienced such poor service. No one cares about there customers and they have not a clue on the questions I was asking. Never in my life have I experienced such morons on the telephone.I would avoid this place like the plague. It's terrible

Tried to get booked in but sadly they were too busy for me to speak to a service advisor ? so although I was in their service department I had to phone the online booking system.Update:It appears the response below is merely smoke and mirrors. I did as requested and emailed over details and still no contact from them. Looks like I'll be taking my motorcycle and car business elsewhere. Given I own 5 BMW bikes and a BMW car it's pretty shabby service perhaps a "voice of the customer" call to BMW customer service would get some action? It appears that despite being a premium product with premium prices Halliwells run it on an understaffed shoestring...Previously I'd had my X3 serviced by DMW in Deeside, a much better experience from a BMW specialist

First time here for my mini clubman service, so I didn't know what to expect. I was not disappointed after dropping the car off at reception had a day out shopping in Chester. On arrival to collect the car, it was still being washed, so a free coffee and a biscuit or two. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and the reception staff were very friendly.

Complete neglect towards the customer, awful communication and lack of organisation giving an awful name to such a great brand. It took me over 6 months to sort out my warranty issue. I would recommend staying away, it's not worth your stress. If you do decide to go with this centre, make sure you contact BMW customer service with any issues. They're much more helpful and competent and get things done.

Same feedback as the rest of the comments.Terrible communication, waited over two days for an update on my car. Spent a fortune going to and from the garage.Bit of consideration and foresight for customers would go a long way.Staff seem nice - shame the service is pants.

I was recovered here last Friday after my motorbike broke down. The staff were amazing and looked after me with courtesy and professionalism. They liaised with the recovery and roadside team to organise a vehicle to get me on my way, even staying late after hours due to a delay outside of their control. The fault was diagnosed, and despite not being a scheduled repair, they had it fixed very quickly. I cannot recommend Halliwell Jones enough. They were the epitome of quality service!!

Poor and very slow service, wouldn't go to them again. Only went there as the car had been recalled due to software problem. car brought in at 10am as arranged, advised it would be ready between 3.30 - 4.00. Finally got out at 5 despite being told by text at 1.45 that car was 'on the lift'. At 4.50 I was told it was just about to undergo a health check and would ready in 10 minutes, so they'd had it on the lift for 3 hours and were only just doing the health check which they then only spent 10 minutes on, not good enoughService: Electrical

my X1 was re-called for software update and when booked it wasnt explained about a whole day booking however I planned to work in Service office with their wifi. Coffee was good but the person attended didn't give much detail about the booking and return. Chester Service always does a car wash while there but to my dismay it wasnt done even after being there for 5 hours since 8:30.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I have just changed my brand from Mercedes to BMW. New Car Sales were great but the Garage, when I had an engine fault, were diabolical letting the whole Brand down. They were rude, non cooperative and did not care one jot about the customer. These are the reasons I left BMW 10 years ago. I only gave the garage one star as you have to do that to highlight the post. Do I go back to Mercedes?STILL NO REPLY TO MY COMPLAINT. WHY BOTHER BUYING A BMW FOR £85000 FROM HALIWELL JONES?
