Ideal location for my visit to Chester. Friendly staff and small but well appointed room. The breakfast was very good and the staff although busy were happy to serve.

We were very happy with this hotel. Everything was great - from the exceptional level of cleanliness to many lovely touches: little chocolate on the pillow, generous toiletries, extra soft and fluffy towels, plentiful little milk portions for the morning coffee (made my husband's morning :)The hotel is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The room we stayed in (room 4) is a good size, quiet, with a very comfortable bed and a beautiful on-suite bathroom. There is space downstairs (lounge) to relax. The breakfast area was in the second building (the hotel occupies two buildings with a free car park in the middle), which was a few steps away. Again, the dining room was spotlessly clean, well appointed and cozy.Breakfast was amazing - fully cooked delicious English Breakfast as well as selection of fruit, juices, pasties, yogurts, cereal, even including a platter of cold meats and cheese. The staff members we encounter were very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything was done very swiftly and with a smile.I highly recommend this hotel, it's a great location for the Chester City center, within an easy walking distance (15 mins), great value for money and a very pleasant stay.

Upon check-in we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room we had was very nice and clean and had clearly been recently updated. The bathroom was particularly clean and spacious. The only downside was at breakfast, whilst the spread of foods offered looked delicious, my partner and I where quite disappointed by one of the staff members lack of basic hygiene. Let me assure you the following has nothing to do with covid-19 and even before the outbreak of the corona virus we would have been just as disgusted. During the serving of breakfast one of the staff members was consistently coughing and spluttering all over the food. The first time we saw it we where concerned but thought it may have been a one of but it continued on at which point we both decided to put down our forks and leave immediately. Neither of us a germaphobes but what we saw was actually just gross, to see someone coughing directly onto trays of cold meats and cheeses and then to see people walking up to serve themselves and to see them wiping their nose with back of there hands and then going to directly touch the breads was horrifying. We notified the staff member on the desk who seemed quite concerned by the issue so hopefully the staff member who was clearly sick was sent home. Other than having to leave our breakfast uneaten the accommodation was suitable for our needs.

Some areas need refurbishment, but overall its a great hotel. The staff are very efficient. It's the 4th time we've stayed and will be back. It is ideal for catching the bus into Chester City centre. It is close to pubs, restaurants and shops.

Just left after a 4 night stay. Rooms refurbished to a very high standard. Superior king size bed flat screen wall mounted tv, tea and coffee available in the room. Plus refrigerator. The bathroom is excellent with walk in shower and bath. Lovely breakfast included in the price. 10 to 15 minute walk into chester. Bus stop outside to liverpool. Overall excellent hotel friendly staff. Would recommend to anyonelooking for somewhere to stay in Chester.

This hotel was without doubt the most stunning in decor and ambience we have ever been to. It is obvious no expense has been spared on facilities and decoration Beds, pillows and towels are superb. Breakfast is included in the cost and is exactly what you need to start your day.

This is a very up-to-date establishment. Our en-suite room was clean and nicely decorated which included a fridge. Only minus here was the room was rather warm and we had to open the window. Unfortunately this allowed in the traffic noise from the main road. Consequently the window had to be closed during the night. Good variety at breakfast, car parking available. Road side location. Breakfast timings ( from 8 am to 9 am) We were a little disappointed when arriving at the breakfast room to be advised there were no tables free for the five of us and we were asked to return after 20 minutes. Would be better to extend the opening times from 7.30 am to 9.30 am to allow more flexibility. Finally, in general we were very happy with our stay and wish to add that the staff were very pleasant. Would recommend.

I honestly can?t think of any way this place could be improved. The quality and condition of the rooms and facilities, beds, linen towels etc are far beyond the standards they need to be, the staff are very obliging and the lady who serves breakfast is a delight. The breakfast is all very good quality and the eggs are cooked on request to your liking. There is ample easily accessed parking and places to sit out in the grounds should you wish.Very close to Chester city centre, you can take a five minute drive to the multi story car park, take a bus or walk (30 mins).Or a five minute walk to Hoole main street where there are shops and some extremely good eating places. All in all you get far more than you pay for at Chester Court.

Amazing place. Room clean and comfortable with a large TV and refreshments. Great selection for breakfast in the conservatory. Will definitely be staying there again next time I visit Chester.

Never visited. Hotel cancelled on 24 hours notice. Overbooked. No offer of compensation. Shocking customer service or inability to count rooms v guests. Not sure which is worse. I suspect done because they received a better offer. Disappointing.

The Chester court Hotel is a beautiful little hotel with very tasteful interiors and furniture. We had a cozy room that was equipped with many amenities, including a fan, which was really welcome due to the heat. The room stash had regular and decaf coffee, hot chocolate sachets and crisps. The pillows had little mint chocolates kept on them. It was all very impressive. There was a breakfast buffet with a decent spread of food including English breakfast, cereals, fruit platter, meats, cheese and some cakes and yogurts. The dining area was in a conservatory and was managed by such lovely staff who were so warm and welcoming, specially Tina and Sandra. When I requested them if they could do a little candle and cake for my partner's birthday, they put together something very cute and i was really touched. They're an absolute asset to the hotel. We had a chance to chat to the owner himself, Ray, a lovely man who knows how to add a human touch to the hotel and makes his property stand out among the rest. We will definitely visit again. Can't recommend this place enough.

Little break away in chester. Travelled with partner and 10 year old son. Arrived early around 11am and thankfully our room was ready to check in. (Otherwise we would of been able to leave bags). Room was in courtyard. Felt like a little chalet. Had fridge and microwave in. Tea, coffee etc. Son was made up with walkers crisps left as snacks and biscuits. Lovely little touches, mini toiletries and little chocolates left on pillows. We all slept well. Breakfast is included. Breakfast was self serve. The variety was amazing. A lot of thought has been put in to the this hotel and it shows. They had little pots on Breakfast table of all different sauces and jams, including chocolate sauce and honey. Overall we had a great stay! Looking forward to our return.
