Grocery Stores in Alsager, Cheshire

“The through road was closed due to the music festival last Saturday. I had just had my lashes done on Farrel Drive so it was just easy to pop into Spar and get a few bits and bobs. The prices are quite high in Spar compared to going to Sainsbury's but it's a convenience store so I expected that. I got a nice fresh salad and some halloumi cheese. They did 0ne pint cans of Strongbow which I hadn't seen before so I got some of those. It was ok as a one-off visit. I will stick to Sainsbury's in future though.”

“A well laid out store filled with good fresh produce. Brightly lit and enclosed chilled goods in synthetic light, great for headache inducing, dark room seeking isolation to recover. The lady at the checkout told me she looked like Debbie Harry, and if have seen a recent picture of the one time super pop star, you might agree. The cashier raced through my items as fast as she could, it took two of us just to keep up, most uncomfortable to say the least.
I like the store for its quality food, but the checkout woman deserves a job in Hades if you were to ask me.”
