“Oh my, prices have increased even at Aldi. I was only buying essentials for the next few days, (for two of us) I think the most expensive item was tea bags at £4.95. I only filled a small basket-trolley and the bill was £49…I’m sure a couple of years back that would have been more £25-£30. That said…can’t afford to shop anywhere else! ?”

“Lovely bright well stocked storeStaff helpful in the main. There are always a couple of grumpy men to contend with if you need help or information. I try to avoid them and speak to a youngster or a female member of staff. No WiFi today so all a bit slow and busy. Staff helpful and pleasant.”

“A small out-of-town supermarket serving the urban area to the west of Newcastle. For it's size it has a good rage of produce, but this inevitably means it is a little cramped.”

“Super handy local store - has everything you need and more. Friendly and helpful staff. Great to pop in on a Sunday or evening for the essentials. Cashpoint outside. Just be careful entering and leaving the car park at the back - bit tight space-wise.”

“Good place and with me living just across the bridge from it it's good if I just what to pop out to get something but reason for no 5 stars is repeatedly out of stock on specific important things but other then that the prices are also quite bad cause I went for a small bottle of doctor pepper and they tried making me pay £1.80 for it same with the treats £3.00 for a bag of malteasers but other then the out of stockness and the prices it's a good little place to visit and it's right next to the water Hays chip shop so it's a good location and quite nice”

“Good selection of produce and handy to be able to send and collect parcels from Amazon here as well. Appreciate the new cafe and party store as well. There is also a petrol station with free air for tyres.”

“Easy and Speedy service and if they are busy it's simple - I do a little shop whilst I wait.Would recommend as they are open 7 days a week Monday to Sunday. They close earlier on Sunday - check the times.(For those of you leaving negative reviews and not understanding rules around prescriptions being filled, if there is not a pharmacist present for whatever reason, you cannot collect your medication. This is to keep you safe as they are the only one who can explain you medication to you. This applies to all chemists. You can however call any other chemist that is open and ask them to fill your script as they check if you've collected it through the electronic system. If you have not they can give you what is prescribed by your Doctor. Problem solved.)”

“Quite small for a heron foods but they do have good space for the offers that and those one off buys.Navigation around can be tricky as it feels cramped in there due to size but the good hand of B&M is a shop I’ll always stop in”
