Waited yet again 54(!) minutes to get through to be told they're closed for half the day and have no appointments left and to ring 111, go to the walk-in centre to wait 4+ hours to be seen, or see a pharmacist, which defies the point of having a GP surgery in the first place. Wasn't even offered an appointment at their sister practice at Paston.Was bad enough getting an appointment before, but since Dr Patel and Dr Shah retired you just struggle to get through to get an appointment, and if you do get through either all appointments are gone once they triage you, which is a phone call back usually half a day later, then if you're very lucky it's only a telephone appointment but never face to face with an actual GP.

Saw the nurse practitioner who was incredibly friendly and reassuring. Great to have someone with dermatology experience at the centre. Overall, Paston and Werrington health centres have been great - friendly nurses and receptionists. I?ve never had a problem getting appointments.

Really friendly reception team, always happy to help. GP's have changed a bit but good service always follows, nurses are fabulous!

Today, 29th December, I was seen by a lovely Doctor called James. My second visit within a few weeks about a cough. Still no infection! So was sent for xray at city care centre. I had the results back within a few hours, after being told at xray, my surgery would get the results the following Wednesday. The xray was clear with no concerns. My Doctor did say I most probably would get results the same day. I was so relieved. Thank you for the quick action and response.

Have been at this practice for over 35 years. Staff are always friendly, no issues getting an apt during covid. Ok if you ring at 8.30 it can be annoying waiting in the queue but speaking on personal experience I haven't had any issues in seeing anyone.

The worse health centre you can find in UK. Nobody is answering that phone , and when is answering is just to tell you they don't have staff. Shameful and disappointing.Never seen worse

I have never had any issues with Werrington Surgery, always lovely and friendly staff. The doctor this morning was the first time I had spoken to him and put my mind at ease, so lovely and helpful. 5 star ? couldn?t have wished for anyone better to help me this morning. Thank you ?

I don?t understand some of the negative comments on here. Thankfully I don?t bother the surgery much but on the times I have, I?ve had nothing but excellent service. Phone in the morning, the receptionists are ALWAYS friendly and helpful despite I suspect being under pressure from the amount of calls they receive first thing. I?ve ALWAYS received a call back and if needed, get an appointment the same day.\\nNo complaints from me, thank you all

Terrible now. I have been at this practice for years, but getting to see a doctor, especially mine is difficult. Who thought of the idea of ringing for a appointment at 8.30AM, did not think about night shift workers!! And anyways when you ring on the dot at 8.30AM, the answer machine, not receptionists, says its full !!!!

Unfriendly and unhelpful receptionist. After more than half an hour waiting in the queue to be attended, no appointments left. The system is unbearable for working people. Receptionist also doesn't seem to care at all.
