We had Sunday breakfast at Fox and Hounds. And it was lovely!. We were there around 11:00 ish. It was not busy at all, nice and quiet. Very quick and polite service from the minute we sat down at the table and ordered our food until the very end. Staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is lovely in there! Really nice. Dogs are welcome as well. Food was delicious. Definitely will come back there!

Lunchtime meals were very disappointing the chips where over cooked and dry and the fish was very small the second meal was very over cooked and the chicken strips were hard with no chicken inside the strip.
The waitress was very welcoming.

Varied menu with lots of vegetarian options. Good beer selection.good parking around the back of the building.
Nice atmosphere, updated decor but still traditional.

We visited the Fox and Hounds on Tuesday, served by Louis Alex and Jasmine, arrived just after 2pm. It was my mothers 65th birthday, we had the warmest welcome, candles on the table lit, a little bottle of Prosecco for my mum and a Birthday card from Jasmine and the Team, such a lovely touch and loved by my mother. There were 6 of us in the party, food was quick hot and delicious. I can?t thank you enough! Thank you for making my mothers birthday so memorable
Wheelchair accessibility: My mother has mobility issues, we let them know before attending and they ensured the table was on the lower level

The place is nice and welcoming, the outside seating area is beautiful, the food is amazing( that little pots with rosemary placed on the tables are brilliant and loved it) the service is 5*, and last but not least is dog-friendly.

My self and partner been to this venue few times but on the 2nd June 2024 was disappointedA. Asked for a bottle of Shiraz and was given organic one ! N had to go to the Bar to sort this out n get alternative as didn?t have a normal Shiraz bottle.B Then my partner had steak which was rubbery chewy !! I mean we paid good money for it to have poor quality and service. C I had salmon but had 4big potatoes and three sermon tender broccoli with small salmon piece !! Disappointed I do feel the lack of staff 2 through the evening is disappointing as could see both the staff really helpful but very busy and this resulted in the customer service. Previous we have had Jasmine who have been around the table asking if everything was ok did get that though her name was on the Board in charge!!!!I feel for the money we spent on bottle of wine £27. N the meal £70 is you expect better.

The staff seems snoby and uninterested. The floor had clearly not been hoovered in ages as there was crumbs everywhere. The breakfast sounded lovely on the menu and was very disappointing. Best part of the vist was the puppy. Glad it's at least dog friendly.

We stopped off here for a meal after a day out at the beach it was half way home. We had a warm welcome, we had our dog with us. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious and nicely presented. My only criticism is that the zero alcohol beer was £4.35 a bottle!!!! We will definitely return when in the area again.
