Tried to enquire about repeat prescription 5 times I phoned dispensary after 12 noon the last time for 8 minutes no reply then general enquiries 3 times last time 5 minutes no reply so my question is how do we communicate with surgery absolute disgrace !

I have been registered with Bottisham Medical Practice for over 36 years. It is unbelievable how badly it now operates now. The appointment "system" is ridiculous. You cannot make an appointment in advance, you have to telephone in the morning to try and see a doctor that day only. If there are no available appointments that very day then you have to ring back the next morning to hopefully get an appointment. The big problem is when you try to ring in the morning an automated message says that "the appointment line is receiving a high volume of calls, could you ring back later". By the time you do manage to get to speak to someone, after making numerous calls, all the appointments have been taken and you're told to ring back the next day. There is also a big turnover of medical staff, it just seems that they are there for only a short time before moving on and most of them are practising doctors.

Thank you Bottisham Medical practice. We have been with the practice for about 8 years and have always had excellent service. Just recently my son has been very poorly and has seen three different doctors in a short space of time. Receptionists have always been super friendly and helpful. All three doctors have been so thorough, offered call backs to check in on him and having had his bloods done, they are still investigating and keeping us informed every step of the way. So grateful to have such a fantastic, friendly surgery.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Absolutely shocking? receptionists incapable of booking correct appointments, no sympathy when they?ve booked your appointment wrong and no attempt to get you in quickly after their wrong doing . If you?re lucky enough to get an appointment you will likely be referred everywhere BUT the surgery. Doctors speaking loudly and inappropriately about patients to each other in the waiting room. I am completely dissatisfied with every encounter I have had with this surgery, and always leave feeling uncomfortable.

Very impressed with this surgery. The reception staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly, as well as efficient. They registered my family within hours of me dropping off the forms unlike nearby Fulbourn who still hadn?t registered us after a week (hence switching to Bottisham). They also prioritised my initial prescription call as it involves my 3 month old son. The doctor I then spoke to about his prescriptions for cow?s milk protein allergy formula and reflux meds was so supportive and helpful. She gave us everything we needed without a fuss and said I could call her anytime for help dealing with this difficult allergy. Can?t fault the service, thank you to all the staff ??

Great GP practice, very responsive. From the receptionists, dispensary team, plebotomoists, nurses and the doctors that I've dealt with, everyone is kind and friendly. They are handling the pandemic brilliantly with on the day bookings via telephone/video (face to face if needed) which can be done online. The team have been very empathic and caring, thank you!

Extremely unpleasant service by the Bottisham pharmacy - Out of stock medicines - Repeat prescription service very hard.Pharmacy said I cant use online or any other pharmacy to order the medications unless I give them 5 days repeat prescription time.This is against my rights to choose - Anyone should be able to use any pharmacy and one should order the medication via that pharmacy. This is supposed to be that simple and these people make our lives so hard. Especially when it's corona time, they should take every steps to make things simpler.I was at the local pharmacy and there was another customer, she said she had similar experience with Bottisham Medical practice. They making the system very complicated so that people will only get their medicines from them.In my 20 years of experience this is my first ever unpleasant service received.I asked the Local pharmacy and they told me, all we need to do it to tell them that the prescription to be ordered via the local pharmacy and they should comply with this.I hope in future my prescription will get delivered via our Local pharmacy without any issues.

I couldnt praise this surgery enough, who have certainly had their hands full with my family! My son is disabled and receives superb care from this practice and the receptionists are wonderful too. Wonderful nurse practitioner too and all other aspects here are excellent. I feel very blessed to be a patient here.

I'm satisfied with the care I get from the GPs at this surgery. They are responsive and attentive and follow-through on actions. The surgery is busy but I have been able to book an emergency appointment when needed
