“I visited HC @ the retail park in High Wycombe yesterday with my Granddaughter, who is age 7. I've lost my receipt, hence the review here. The staff were really pleasant & helpful. We were advised to speak to a lady called Niki. This lady took the time to advise my Granddaughter what equipment she would need to make a dress & a t-shirt, both way above her capabilities & sensed my cry for help, to steer her away to something more suitable for her age. I can't even sew a button on lol.. Thank you Niki, my Granddaughter was thrilled with her purchases, which she is able to make herself, with minimal guidance, to introduce her onto "bigger" things. You explained everything & answered any (well many questions) that were asked, & the best way to get on the 1st step.. Keep up the good work!! A very grateful Nana”

Changing rooms available - self check out available along with customer service at the same desk. Just make sure they take the tag off your item before leaving the shop and going on holiday!”

“Huge store with lots of materials and wide range of tools.
I especially like that there is a specific shelf of power drills (DeWalt, Makita, Bosch), so that you can physically feel and get an idea of the comfort, handling and grips on the drills.
The other local DIY stores (e.g. Toolstation) keep their demo power drills locked up behind the till, so you can’t get a feel for the tools. Not sure why they bother, it’s basically just a 3D version of the website photo, out of reach of the customer, so what’s the point.

“Some absolutely solid deals to be had! The store is mighty untidy and the tills rarely have enough staff on them, yet there is an abundance of staff walking around, which seems very odd. However, the place really nails everything else and also, the cafe is great. I like the place.”

Can't fault the members of staff on the MAC and Clinique make up counters. They were both so helpful and friendly, I won't hesitate to revisit after my experience. They're definitely a credit to your store.”

We only went in to have look round but came out with a marble coffee table set.
The process was easy and very painless. I can't wait to have the coffee table in place, but long delivery unfortunately.
