“This is a wonderful department store with beautiful displays and very helpful salespeople. We needed a bathing suit for a spa experience and they had quite a few still. Suzy was as lovely a sales person as you could ever expect. Sorry I didn't get the name of the lingerie fitting woman but she was equally helpful.”

“Lovely experience, speedy service, I ordered a tuna toastie and it was lovely. The staff also gave us each (there were 5 of us) a complimentary banana bread each which was very kind and hospitable of them. Amazing experience overall and will definitely be coming back when I'm next in Windsor!”

“Stepping into the Barbour store on Windsor’s High Street feels a bit like boarding a well-appointed First Class cabin everything is polished, purposeful, and unmistakably British. Nestled just a short stroll from the castle, this shop is a haven for those who appreciate heritage, quality, and a waxed jacket that can weather both countryside rambles and urban downpours.

The store itself is beautifully laid out, with that signature Barbour blend of rugged charm and refined elegance. Whether you’re after a classic Beadnell or something from the more contemporary Barbour International line, the selection is thoughtfully curated. During their #BarbourPeople store tour, they even offered complimentary monogramming a delightful touch that adds a personal flair to your purchase.

What truly elevates the experience is the staff. Much like a seasoned cabin crew, they’re attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable without a hint of pretension. They’re ready to assist, whether you’re a Barbour aficionado or a first-time buyer seeking that perfect fit.

In a town steeped in royal history, the Barbour Windsor store holds its own as a purveyor of British excellence. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to invest in timeless style with service that’s as warm as a freshly brewed cup of tea on a rainy English day.”

“I been to The Edinburgh Wollen Mill store at 371 High Street, Edinburgh EH1 1PW on 28th May 2025, highly recommend this store for its quality of wollen products, scot biscuits, shortbread, sourviers and books.”

“Nice charity shop. Lowest clothing prices in town however other goods are about the same price as in British Heart Foundation. Quality of goods are also similarly high to the British Heart Foundation.Male volunteer is very friendly as he was not only empathetic when I came to the store too late as I went to other stores not knowing it would close early on a Sunday, but also the man greeted me.This store is also LGBTQIA+ friendly.Half the store is the media section (books, DVDs and CDs) down in the basement. The ground floor half is mostly clothing, kids toys, board games, but also has a glass cabinet of higher end goods. This place is paradise for resellers due to the low prices like £2 for Monopoly Junior Party. Board games are also conveniently checked for you.”

“I was served by 2 lovely members of staff in store last week, the assistant manager and supervisor were extremely helpful I ended up buying a dress (so tempted to buy much more). Very fast and friendly customer service. The clothes are absolutely divine, I would highly recommend the store to everyone!”

“Amazing service, and amazing suit. Flew in from the US to head to the Royal Ascot for the first time, rented my suit from home and picked it up with ease. Sanjay helped me out tremendously. Highly recommend!”

“Lowest pricing, best quality items, friendly staff. Will come back again if I'm in the area.Don't know how this store was 2.5 stars but this awesome charity store needs more reviews considering it is a busy store, even on a Sunday afternoon.”

“I went to this shop with my girlfriend during a day out in Windsor. The restaurant is located along the main street of the town of Windsor, the one that leads directly to the entrance to the castle. At the entrance there is a sales assistant who welcomes all customers and makes herself available for support. The place is large and displays many items of clothing. In the sales season there are very interesting discounts.”

“Okay selection, not enough mirrors throughout the store to check what you’ve wore, a little annoying . Never thought how useful mirrors are in a store. Some brilliant shirts though.”

“Genuinely quality deals on clothing, and a broader selection of clothes and styles than at traditional retailers. Have to get used to how it is laid out but once you do it's a good place to shop.”

“??I buy from this store regularly as they have a big skincare range and loads of products I haven't seen in other Windsor stores. There's always plenty of offers, especially buy 1 get 2nd half price and there's a points loyalty card which is handy for extra shopping discounts couple of times a year. Superdrug also stock their own branded products. Customer service is good but I dislike the upsell at the counter when the server starts showing me other products to buy. I also find it awkward when I'm asked to add a charity donation to my bill at POS when I already donate monthly to my chosen charity.”
