Great weekend stay here up from Torbay for my daughters wedding. Cost for the room was fabulous. Only issue was I had my older mother in law and it was advertised with a lift and there wasn't one. What a let down to all the beautiful pubs in Newbury. We went for a quick meal with my daughter ( no alcohol) approached 3 times by security for id (shes 18 out with her mum for food) One table so drunk lady literally collaped on floor security do nothing but keep going round id ing people clearly old enough.
The pub is open for breakfast until 12 noon and offers free refills (all day every day) on tea and Lavazza coffee. For lunch and dinner, there are lighter bites, with deli deal options and vegetarian choices, gourmet burgers and freshly made pizzas. Wetherspoon has championed a wide range of drinks, including real ales, craft beers, gins and soft drinks. Table service is available via the Wetherspoon app, using our unlimited free Wi-Fi. This pub has step-free access.
