“A straightforward supermarket with polite and helpful staff and excellent quality products. Also one of the few places that does Brandy Cream and Brandy Butter at Christmas! Excellent if you're looking for a slightly obscure ingredient from another culture.”

“Nice clean supermarket with friendly staff, absolutely massive selection of everything and as it's a Sainsbury's it's not too extortionate for the odd couple things. Would visit again happily to pick up some stuff if needed.”

“A good easy to access petrol station. The air pump is sometimes broken but it's free when operational. Pay-at-pump option is available on some but not all pumps. Staff are always friendly. Forecourt is always clean. Gloves always available for filling up too.”

“The pharmacy is very quick. And the selection of groceries and convenience items is more rhan I was expecting to see. I dont know yet how to compare peixes so can't remark about that. Surprisingly closes early at 4pm on Sundays. :(”

“I had my one good high beam headlamp go and it was dark. Luckily I was near the shell and I hoped against hope that they would have headlamp bulbs. I was in luck. They also have all the bits and pieces you would need in a pinch for the home and a hot food cabinet.”

“Staff are always polite with every food essentials in. We have Co-ops dotted everywhere - handy to avoid 20 minute journey to a local supermarket just for a loaf or milk that we all tend to run out of periodically.”

“Popped in to get a few bits, quite busy. Not been here for a while, plenty to choose from plenty of tills open. We had a young lad he was very chatty and helpful. So polite when we left”

“This is my sending favourite branch after their larger sister branch at Northbrook Street. Purely as I have frequented it more and have got to know some of the staff. The staff at this M&S outlet is equally as polite and cheerful. Quite easy to hit the £200 mark without purchasing a full trolly (and without purchase of alcohol). I shall try Lidl opposite next time to compare.”

“I live close by and I often visit the shop. Elliott and the team are always helpful and friendly. Nick goes the extra mile if a product is not on display and checks the stock room, which is much appreciated.”

“Overall good experience in Tesco Express. Adequate products and stock most of the times. In center of town center and serve the purpose, there is plenty of self check-out options, there is bakery as well for fresh baked breads and pastries. Also there are other services like Hermes ParcelShop, MoneyGram, Payzone bill payments available in Tesco Express.”

“Waitrose is an amazing supermarket wonderland with a great store brand. Being from the US, I was especially impressed by the very reasonably-priced jams and jellies in interesting flavors, like rhubarb ginger. The rhubarb-ginger jelly/jam could have been more sour and more spicy, but the mere fact of it being rhubarb ginger was amazing. I think I experienced Waitrose as "reasonably priced" compared to other, earlier reviews from the US due to a more favorable exchange rate in the last few years, making Waitrose much cheaper than Whole Foods at home, where I don't usually shop due to price. At Waitrose, I had a great time shopping and trying different things. The food here was high quality, and it seemed to be selected for a mix of classic and super interesting. The store-brand product that most impressed me was the Waitrose de-caf Earl Grey tea. It's my absolute favorite of all de-caf Earl Greys I've had, or full-caf Earl Greys for that matter, because it's more aromatic with bergamot than others. I don't know whether Waitrose adds more bergamot or whether they treat their bergamot better, but either way, it's just delicious. It also comes in a larger, more economical size, which was a treat for me because it spoke to the idea of this being an "every day" type of tea, as it should be.”
