We stayed at The Old Bush on route to Scotland, and it was a wonderful place to park our motorhome for the evening. The bathroom facilities were super clean and private, and there is a very well stocked little farm shop on site that sells everything you can think of and lovely fresh fruit and vegetables. On the way back from Scotland we stayed there again and we went for dinner in the evening at the pub and it was a great experience. The service was good and the food was delicious. We loved all the games they had inside and we had a lovely family meal. The pub was super lively. We had packed some games to play with the kids and we forgot them at the pub and only realised when we got home (after a 4 hour drive) we were going to leave it but the one game was sold out online so I took a chance and emailed asking if they could please post the games home to us and Matt very kindly posted them back for free even after I offered to pay for postage. Overall we had a wonderful experience at the pub, the shop and the motorhome site and we highly recommend stopping for the evening if you are on a long drive or just passing through. It was super easy to book online aswell. We will definitely be back for the welcoming and warm experience that we had and the excellent service from Matt in particular.

Fantastic service by Izzy who was prepared to email me pictures of the menu and type out the vegan option as she didn't have access to the specials board. brilliant customer service.

Sadly this pub that was once good value for money seems not to be so good as it once was. No Sunday lunch as the chef was off. The Gammon was more fat than meat, the chilli tasted sour and at approx £21 per head for 2 courses there are other places in Powick that serve a 2 course Sunday lunch for approx £15.

Great pub which also has a site for motorhomes and glamping pods. Pub is a real gem internally, lovely old country feel but lots of interesting artifacts ranging from military badges, ties, miniature gnomes, guitars and photographs. There is a reasonable menu plus fair selection of specials to choose from. Good service, nice beers and lovely ambience. Dog friendly in bar but does get busy.

We stayed in the Pods for four nights while attending Lakefest and visiting family. I've been to the Old Bush many times over the years and every time I go there's always something extra and better than the last time. Fantastic facilities at the Pods, great shower, really comfy bed, TV with Netflix, hot chocolate and kettle, beautiful tea service set and fantastic views. Landscaping around the site is really well thought out and convenient. The on site Shop at the Top and Cafe had a great selection of everything we needed including excellent vegetarian options. The pub itself has the best stocked bar around with a great selection of spirits, ales, cider and wines. Also great menu of homemade food (excellent vegetarian options here too). We really enjoyed our stay in our super cosy, clean and beautiful Pod! Thank you to all staff. Highly recommended.

Stayed for five nights with a campervan pitch with the family. Absolutely stunning site for camping. A fantastic pub with a beautiful little shop does a hell of a lot for its size. Clearly very popular with locals also. Everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be back again and have already recoiit to friends and family.

We stayed over on our way to Devon and it was a great halfway point from the North West. The campsite is amazing, very well-maintained and with an aviary with the most gorgeous birds to look at. For our evening meal my vegetable enchiladas were delicious, as was my husband?s sea bass. As for the dessert? well? if my husband looked at me the way he looked at that bread and butter pudding, I?d feel like a goddess. It took him right back to childhood, just like the food critic in Ratatouille. We could practically hear his nan dishing it up. We will be back, bringing our aviation-obsessed son next time, so he can gaze at all the Concorde memorabilia. Thank you for a fantastic stay!
