A really special message to a member of Bar staff called Amy and also main reception Gail. We had a 250 + mile journey to stopover and restaurant had closed unfortunately. I am diabetic and initially got a packet of crisps as my levels dropped very quickly and Amy was a real credit and kind lady and asked kitchen staff if they could do a bowl of chips after fryers now off to assist me and make sure after carbohydrates would be ok until morning breakfast. Gail at reception also offered support with takeaway if needed and I will never forget the kindness and help from such lovely people and a credit to your hotel.

I can't leave no stars or I would!!!
Can't comment on the hotel, however the pub/restaurant is disgusting. It shows on mapping adls a Beefeater however, it isn't under that brand anymore.
It is filthy, the floors, the toilets, the reception etc
It is NOT the usual standard we have come to expect from Whitbread/Premier Inn
We always try and stop off at one of their establishments and this was no different as we were travelling back from Cornwall.
We came off the M5 to come here and wish we had drove straight past. Give this place a wide berth would be my advice.!!

Great location just off M5 as a halfway point for our trip to St Davids in Wales. Used the meal deal as this was very good value for money. Our restaurant server, Chloe was excellent - friendly, helpful and efficient. Good choices on the menu and the food was very good. Room was clean and bed comfortable as usual at Premier Inn

Just missing some kind of control to manage the heating at night and the fan supplied could do with been dusted

Room had no Aircon which was unfortunate as we went on one of the hottest days this year. Kids loved the breakfasts.

ample parking even for a van. I had a long wait at reception when checking in and rang the buzzer several times, never had to wait so long before and in the heat and after a very long drive I just wanted to get to my room! Unfortunately it was incredibly hot outside (over 30 degrees) and this hotel had no AC, only small fans in the rooms. My room temp never dropped below 30 degrees during my stay. The room was clean and what i expect from a premier inn. I didn?t dine or have breakfast so cannot comment. I wouldn?t choose to stay here in summer but it is in a great location just off the M5.

No air conditioning meant that the room was 28c+ all night and the fan offered had such a short cable that it couldn?t be felt in bed.
There are better offerings in the area for similar prices.

Superb stay here. Staff were super-helpful and friendly, Alice in the restaurant couldn't do enough for us and went above and beyond.
Would definitely stay here again.

Very dated hotel, grubby carpets and awful bathtub showers . As the hotel has no air conditioning, and the windows only open a few inches, our room was unbearably stuffy and hot. Definitely one to avoid.

Stopped here over the weekend for a family get together.Unfortunately, it was very hot, and the room was unbearable, there was a desk fan but it wasn't doing much to help the situation but with no air con I'm not sure there was anything else that could have been done about it,not the staffs fault.Shame the beefeater is now closed but was open for breakfast and evening for residents which was handy and it was cool in there..amazing!!
Great location ? staff all friendly and helpful ?

Great staff but how can a hotel not have aircon

This premier Inn had no food available to order on my first nights stay . But it is advertised as having food available. I had to order a takeaway using Deliveroo . This Premier Inn is ok for 1 or 2 nights stay for workers but that's all. On my 2nd night stay there was food available from the carvery type place immediately opposite but the food was poor. I had fish and chips but the fish was very watery with no taste . Overall my stay was ok but think the food not being available and when it was tasted like very poor pub food let this Premier Inn down. The Inn itself is ok but I'd give a rating of 6/10 cos of the food situation.
Rooms: My room was clean and quiet with no problems .

Premier Inn are always good to stay in. Cheap and cheerful, but you know what to expect. Ideally situated for an overnight stay.
Since our last visit in October 2023, the self-service buffet breakfast has been discontinued. The waiter service is too slow. Sorry but that's lost a couple of stars.
Food and drinks: The self-service breakfast has gone, and has been replaced by waiter service. We found this to be inefficient, and very slow. Useless if you have a schedule to work to!
