My husband and I popped in yesterday because we had received the paperwork relating to our maturing fixed rate ISAs. We were greeted by the ever cheerful and friendly Claire at the Customer Service reception desk. She advised us that there were three customers ahead of us. However, she took our contact number and promised to phone us within the next half hour. Less than 15 minutes later Amy a colleague phoned to say she was ready to see us. Again I can?t emphasise how cheerful and helpful this lovely young lady was. She clearly explained our options and we were able to make a decision regarding our future investments straight away.
Unfortunately great customer interface and service cannot always be guaranteed in this day and age. However, we have always had excellent service from the staff at the Worcester Nationwide Branch

Superb service here. Even on a Saturday morning I was able to speak to someone about an issue. I explained the situation and was asked to take a seat, explaining that someone was in front of me in the queue. When I was invited in, I didn't need to repeat my situation, the assistant was aware of what I needed and explained everything through.

Very patient and polite staff! Spoke to various members on multiple visits dealing with tricky scenarios, and they were all informative and very clear.

Visited the branch today and can happily say the service I received was absolutely amazing. Every single staff member was polite, smiley and happy to help even when it passed 1pm. Nothing was too much trouble and every staff member had their customers best interests at heart including offering beverages for members waiting to be served. A big thank you to Tracey and the manager of the branch today who both answered all my questions and were both lovely. Without a doubt I will always recommend Nationwide and especially the service Worcester provide. A big big thank you and a real credit to the wider Nationwide Team ?

Always a pleasant place to bank. Friendly competent staff with very good weekly opening hours and also open on Saturday. Bouquet to Sarah on the counter who recently resolved a problem for me and also handled money transfers today. Customer service always excellent. No queue's outside at 10am like Natwest over the road.Popped into Nationwide today, 23/03/2023 to order a new card and was served by Cathy. I told her that I'd just come from a failed mission over the road at Natwest where after carting a heavy bag of loose change across town, found their change counting machine out of order. Even if this had been working there were still long queues to be seen. Cathy very kindly offered to count this money manually, over £35 and paid me in notes. Bank teller Cathy who I hadn't seen before, told me that she'd worked at this branch for 38 years after going on a "YTS" youth training scheme. So a Bouquet for Cathy and all the other really helpful staff at this branch.

Worcester in branch assistance & Livechat service.I'd been struggling to contact a team within Nationwide to resolve an issue, the only contact given being a phone number within office hours. I eventually went into the Worcester branch where I met branch their assistant, Darren, who really couldn't have been more helpful, patient & understanding. He was able to call the team internally & an issue that had been going on for months was resolved then & there, in one visit! The night before I'd used the 24hr Livechat service to check if I could just go into a branch; the assistant I chatted to, Layla, went above & beyond, not only giving constructive advice about being able to visit a branch, what information to take with me, along with a reminder to take some ID, but also offered to email the branch a summary of our conversation so I wouldn't have to explain all over again, & when I arrived at the branch they were expecting me. It's easy to think of branches as buildings that hold the ATMs but there are people in there happy to help in any way they can; you don't have to struggle along on your own, pop into a branch, save your personal time & get immediate help with any issues or queries.
