Store's fine, but the carpark is disgusting. Pray that the filthy lifts work, because the stairwells are worse and stink of piss. Desperately needs cleaning.

The cafe used to be full of people with friendly staff willing to help and provide a service John who used to run it was helpful and always wanted to help always and very professional, now it is run with rude staff unable to help anybody and clearly lack basic training on customer service used to be a lovely weekly trip with my elderly relatives and now I wouldn?t even take them there as a last resort will not be going back !!!

Helpful staff, good pharmacy including getting jabs with your shopping! The self service tills would benefit from better hands on management (many times staff have been leisurely in responding to frequent issues these tills have) but usually very helpful once there.
Competitive with a good range of food.
Customer services desk helpful when sorting issues.

Shocking ? service ? today . My daughter waited 20 minutes to pick up a click and collect . Loads of people were waiting and no one bought any parcels out in that time . One lady asked at customer services twice what was going on . I spoke to a member of staff stacking shelves who proceeded to chat to a college about what clothing they would be wearing for an outing . My daughter left without the parcel - it will have to go back to depot and for her to be refunded .

Good shop, but the shelves and fridges are often empty. They are not restocking quickly enough. I have been at many different times of the week and they are always low on stock

Filthy depressing place. Never seen a supermarket in such a disgusting state before. Fruit and veg aisle was only 1/3rd stocked, a lot of what was there looked pretty off. Cardboard boxes were also strewn around the place with produce scattered in random spots on the shelves, including a box of chicken breasts just sat by the cauliflower. Nice.
Place had a general film of grime over everything. Floor was especially filthy - smeared with god-knows-what, and I literally stepped in a pile of dirty wet paper towels? There were others strewn about the place.
Meat aisle looked like it had been stocked by throwing the stuff onto the shelves from the other side of the room.
If you're interested in spending time in a living example of what giving up looks like then feel free - everyone else should avoid like the plague (something you're liable to catch if you visit here regularly).

We had all day break fast and the lady at the till was so cheerful although, she was busy while serving. Excellent service. Food was really good too. You also get parking voucher as well. Very pleased overall.

Horrible experience went shopping as I'm self-checking. I asked the lady for a parking voucher, she asked me wheres you?re shopping, I go there, then she asked me again where your shopping I go there. Then, the third time, the same question. I responded with, "Why are you stereo typing me for" she started to lose her cool, and she handed me the parking voucher. I think she started to cry. I'm not 100% on that I didn?t know by saying why are you stereo typing me would hurt her feelings
Anyway, I pay and leave, as I get into the car park. I?m entering my reg at the parking ticket machine, a big lady comes running, she is store security. she starts shouting, "Do we have a problem here?" Do we have a problem here? i stayed quiet. Then she says it again. I stayed quiet, then she goes to me. You're banned from the store.. I responded eff off she goes your banned for 2 years. There was other customer standing by me they was actually shocked how the asda security was acting like a bully. I wasn't even looking at here as I was facing the ticket machine this is pure bully tactics from your security lady
Anyway they go don't worry, they will forget or they won't be here you aren?t banned.
i email asda support, I get a email back as I told them what happened. she goes don't worry your not banned so few days later, I go back into store. Lo and behold staff comes running as I'm banned as I'm leaving store another staff member asked me what happened.
I tell her the same thing she goes why I said stereo. Also i showed them the email from asda. I'm not banned, but I left a copy with them. I haven't back since this happened good 5 months ago, I haven?t returned since!
