Carvery started at 17:00 and we were still waiting for the meat to be finished cooked (boiled) at 18:20. All the meats came out in tray full of water where it has been boiled cooked. Absolutely tasteless. Veg had gone dry and limp after it had been sat there while they were finishing cooking the meat. 54 people waiting in the queue around the pub for this dry slop. Served by an arrogant young man. Rolling his eyes and muttering under his breath. I used half a jar of sat and pepper just to get some kind of flavour. I do appreciate the brummie lady with the kind of cury hair. She tried to make my visit pleasant.

My 1st visit to the Swan today ? very impressed with the staff, decor and atmosphere . I had a small carvery ?the meat and vegetable selection was superb . My one comment would be the temperature of the food ?.it was quite cool .

Carvery awful! 1 slice of meat and bland vegetables the roast potatoes were previously cooked and re heated were rock hard would not recommend and have a carvery again

I've been to the swan a few times and its always great. The carvery is really nice, the staff are friendly and helpful and everywhere looks clean and inviting

Meat was so thin it was in bits on my plate and there wasn't much of it at all, also the veg was so hard it may as well of been raw. We was a group of 8 and all very disappointed. The staff were great very friendly people

Been there 3times in the past months. Only one complaint, no Pork , available, only Beef, Turkey, and Gammon last evening. Next time we visit and Pork is back on the menu, I will give you a 5 star rating.

Good all round, very polite and friendly service.
Food was very nice and also home cooked (always a plus).
Beef Bourguinon pie with mash and mixed veg.
Trillionaire tart and sticky chocolate orange cake with pouring cream for desserts.
