What a superb main meal my friend and I had this week. The chef is SUPERB! I had the duck and my friend had fresh sea bass. His/her imagination for different flavours is second to none. We shall be back! Great vaue too!

Absolutely lovely little pub with the most amazing food. First time visit today with my husband and brother. My husbands vegetarian Wellington roast was one of the best he's ever had. My beef Wellington was cooked to perfection and my brothers lamb roast was too. Lovely decor in a great location just down the road from The Hanbury Turn, (another great pub with rooms). Staff and service very professional, friendly and attentive.
We will be back. Only knocked one star off as there were a few flies around and no windows were open, so was quite warm.

Very disappointed today. I ordered the fish sharer, because I enjoyed it so much in the week, even shared a picture of the meal on social media. On return the food was as not as good, missing elements of the dish with much smaller portions of food.

What a beautiful and relaxing place!
The chef is Definitely talented, Every ingredient on the plate was cooked to perfection and full of surprises for my pallet..
I went there To treat my daughter to a Lovely meal and was not disappointed.
We both Had goat cheese bonbons And roasted figs Salad as a starter .
Phoebe had the haddock who came with a lovely homemade tartare sauce and I had the pork belly, what can I say about the crackling Definitely the best I ever tasted.
To finish our experience because it was an experience of fine dining food in the unpretentious venue.
we had two beautiful desserts, Chocolate mouse brownie bites for her and burnt honey tart with passion fruit for me. Delicious ?
Once again, thanks to the chef and also thanks for the service.
Being a rest manager myself and French I will give you 10 out of 10 and you will see me back shortly.

This pub is one of my locals stopped going here due to bad service 2 years ago, I popped in 6 months ago, there wasn't a single person waiting at bar waiting to be served so great I'll get served straight away!! Wrong, as i approchwd the bar the 3 miserable young girls standing behind bar all walked off, one girl came back and started stacking the shelf with glasses she then scowled at me and again walked off so needless to say I walked out. I went in Saturday 27th because my date wanted to try pub, things are exactly the same young miserable, moody girls behind bar that really don't want to be there and such an effort to serve you. On the second round of drinks even my date said was the service any better did you get the miserable one again. The answer was no it didnt get better and I got another miserable one that again looked at me and started stacking shelves with glasses.
If you don't like people don't work behind a bar, if you don't like work quit. The owner/manager really needs to sort new staff or have a word with the present ones as their attitude and lack of manners stinks.
I'll certainly go back to my old routine of NOT going here again, which is ashame because great pub I a great location
