I came down to Severn Stoke on a fishing trip. This is the second time I've had dinner at the Rose and Crown and each time it has been superb. Wonderful service and the food is perfect. Recommended.

We have been to the Rose and Crown many times and been delighted with the food. Service has been great, everything has been served with pride. However, we were so disappointed in the Christmas Lunch, was it a different chef? The roast potatoes were rock hard and the turkey was tasteless. The creme brûlée was nothing special.. and the fish cake starter nothing great. Presentation boring and lacking in creativity.. To top it off at the end we were charged an extra £70 for dishes we didn?t have.. There were no Christmas crackers..and little ambience. Whatever has happened! You won top pub of the year.. I could have cooked Christmas lunch ten times better. Hope you raise your standards and it improves again. Our bill was significant for six people and was the worst Christmas meal we have ever had.

Malvern Walking Group have just enjoyed their excellent 2023 Group Christmas Lunch at the splendid Rose & Crown at Severn Stoke. So it's a Great Big Thank You to mine hosts, Michelle and Andy, and to their excellent Kitchen Team and Bar Staff. I'm sure that everyone in our large group will be back to enjoy individual culinary delights at the Rose & Crown during 2024. What's more, I don't doubt that quite a number of the MWG Walks Leaders will wish to start (and finish, of course) their Walks from the Rose and Crown. Have yourselves a lovely, very busy, Christmas

The Rose and Crown is a pretty, quintessential English olde worlde pub sitting in a beautiful village setting. We were greeted warmly as we arrived, and there is plenty of helpful and friendly, good old fashioned hospitality here. It is certainly a place you would want to tarry awhile ! We visited on a cold November Monday lunchtime, and it was pretty busy - so that speaks for itself ! I decided to try the Spicy Bean Burger. It was prettily presented and looked very inviting. The chips were piping hot and very moreish (and I am not a huge chip fan so they must have been good!). Unfortunately the bean burger itself, although very tasty, must have been sitting on the pass awhile. The bun had gone cold and the burger only luke warm. The hunks of Stilton, although generous, where stone cold, and unfortunately the accompanying salad was rather tired too. I dearly wanted to give this lovely welcoming pub a 5 star review - and had my meal been warm and oozing cheese I would definitely have given it such! I expect we were unlucky and we will definitely visit again.

This place is absolutely wonderful, the staff and the manager are second to none. My friend was taken ill and I had to call the 111 service to help her, they were so supportive and a great place to eat and drink. Thanks Nigel and Siobhan xx

We called to book a table and the lady was helpful from the start. Time and location confirmed. We were greeted like old friends when we arrived and shown to our table in a wonderful historic pub. The landlady Kirsten knew some of the history of the place, over 500 years old. Food and drinks ordered. Great service, she knew the details of all the menu items and confirmed our selection was an excellent choice. Food was served promptly. Delicious. The prices for what was offered were very reasonble and large portions. Kirsten went above and beyond. Will definitely go back soon.

Fabulous customer service. They couldn?t do enough for me to ensure I was looked after and received the service I expected. The floor staff ensured I was looked after well. Excellent bar manager (Kirsten) who went above and beyond to make sure my visit was enjoyable. Thank you team.

Went here with friends for Sunday lunch. Unlike many pubs, they still do their main menu as well. Food was wonderful, as were the staff. Great atmosphere too.

Absolute gem of a pub. Ticks all the boxes. Great food, great menu, atmosphere and staff. Highly recommend and very happy to accommodate our two black labs. Highly recommend this pub

Always a friendly welcome here from the wonderful bar staff, followed by cheerful, efficient and accommodating service from the restaurant staff. The Sunday offering includes a good choice of traditional roasts (amongst many other options) with that rare essential - decent gravy! We followed with a light, airy but delightfully saucy sticky toffee pudding and though the restaurant was reassuringly busy, we were unhurried to vacate our table after dining.

Late lunch. Fabulous food . The front door opened to a couple coming out who said "Wow, that was fabulous". We echo that. Food fantastic. Service extra ordinary. Hosting superb. Will be ther again and again.
