Stopped at this pub while waiting to check in to our farmhouse. The sun was shining, so we spent most of our time outside and only briefly ventured indoors. The food was excellent ? really enjoyable, and I couldn?t fault it at all.

We were hoping to celebrate our daughter?s achievement of passing her solicitor?s qualifying examinations, she is almost 23 years old. I, my husband and her boyfriend ordered drinks but my daughter was asked for ID. She is clearly over 18 and wanted an aperol spritz but the server spoilt our lunch enjoyment by refusing her order! I understand you have a challenge policy but sensibility has to be used and four adults out for Sunday lunch is not the time to refuse people. We had a mediocre lunch served which was cool and the roast potatoes were more like boiled. We were given the sweet menu and upon ordering told the item was out of stock. How can you seriously run out of your stock puddings, they are all frozen after all!
Not an enjoyable experience and won?t be returning.

Served by Sam L. having arrived without booking. We are pretty regular customers so we are getting to know how good the service is. Sam was very attentive, good humoured and cheerful even though she was very busy. No hesitation recommending The Nightingale because we know no one would be disappointed.

5 Stars ? A Hidden Gem in Worcester!
I visited The Nightingale two weeks ago and I?m still thinking about the experience, it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a charming blend of modern elegance and cozy character. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and service.
The menu was creative and beautifully curated. Every dish we ordered was a standout, but the highlight had to be the steak. It was perfectly cooked to my liking and bursting with flavour. The cocktails were just as impressive?thoughtfully crafted and a perfect match for the meal.
It?s clear that a lot of care goes into every detail at The Nightingale. Whether you're after a romantic dinner, a night out with friends, or just really good food in a relaxed setting, this place delivers. I?ll definitely be returning soon!

We were disappointed, the food was not great, we both had hunters chicken, but the bacon was cremated and it needed more tomato sauce and cheese.
The service was slow as they seemed to be short staffed.
The red wine was not great, it tasted as if the bottle had been open for a long time.
