I ordered today collection came in with my two kids after work and picked up a big order but the major problem was I found hair in my food and I thought okay maybe not hair but I washed it and dried with tissue and and seen clearly it was a long hair assuming it?s the chefs hair. I?ve ordered few times from here but that just put me off and I?m sorry but I don?t think I?ll be ordering from here for a while. !!

We visit Shamraj at least once each week and have a great experience every time. The menu is varied and nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the chef if you want something made a certain way. We have started taking friends when they visit and they love it too!

Three weeks in England and this is our second time here at this restaurant. Came back again because the first time was so beautiful. Absolutely exquisite food. We come from Melbourne and there are a lot of Indian restaurants there. This is up there amongst the best that we have had. Thank you.

This is by far the best restaurant in the area, where you get excellent food, served by knowledgable and interested waiting staff. It could do with more customers, so come along people and enjoy the superb food, brilliant service, and, because you came and made it busy, the wonderful atmosphere!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Shamraj this evening. The service was excellent and food was very tasty and in our opinion good value for money. Our individual tastes were readily accommodated. We will definitely be returning.

Just had a takeaway ordered rice unusual for me but....
Cannot believe an Indian restaurant has restored to using such low grade rice we should all know rice is graded this is the lowest it's like cous cous come in guys this is your trade and business now I'm done.

Chicken Korma with Egg fried Rice
Cheese naan
Chicken tikka main with Garlic rice
Korma sauce was okay, but the chicken meat was pink inside. I took the meat back to the restaurant as requested and they tried to tell me that it's supposed to be pink. No refund offered. I'm also 8 months pregnant so this would have been very very bad for me and the baby!

We have had takeaways and dined I'm at the Shamraj, for many years now and never been dissapointed. The food is always good, with a great menu to choose from
The service is always good, very polite, attentive but not intrusive. You can also take your own alcoholic drinks, which makes it very good value.
