Spending a few days in Ludlow. We stopped in for a beer and was very welcome. We returned a second time had another great pint as well as tasty chicken burger in a lovely setting with the fire going.

New owners, only reopened recently so popped in to see how it is now.
Lovely pub, lovely owners, food not starting till 1st Sept but menu looked good so we booked a table.

Lovely country pub. We booked for Sunday lunch and the food was excellent. There is only a Sunday lunch menu available on Sundays but I think
this contributes to the quality of the food served. Lovely views down over the south of Shropshire down to Worcestershire. The staff were very helpful and the portions were very generous. Nice to see Hobson's Dhustone on draught as well.

Received a lovely warm welcome from staff. Good choice of food on the menu, in fact it was hard to decide what to eat! Food was well cooked and tasty and complimented the very reasonably priced large glasses of wine. The pub was nicely full, service was friendly and efficient. It was fab to have a real fire and radiators to keep you warm.

My friend and I were staying locally, and had a very enjoyable early evening meal here. Friendly staff, cosy pub, great food (fish and chips for me, mediterranean tart for my friend). Would recommend.

Under new management who are all friendly and welcoming. Had an absolutely delicious meal, all 3 courses the perfect size and full of flavour, compliments to Val the chef for producing such beautiful food! Would thoroughly recommend coming here for a meal! On a very cold and snowy day the pub was warm and the fire roaring. Only thing missing is some comfy soft chairs to sink into round the fire, but these guys have only just started here so I?m sure there?s much more left to come. Thanks Bennett?s end team! A lovely country pub!

BEEN FOR SUNDAY LUNCH TODAY BOOKED FOR 12 GOT OUR LUNCH AT 1PM ! FOOD WAS SWIMMING IN GRAVEY MEAT LOOKED LIKE ROAD KILL ! NOTHING HAD FLAVOR , CHICKEN NEVER SEEN THE SUPOSIVE LEMON & TIME SEASONING BASIC HARD STUFFING VEG LEAKS AND KALE WAS NUKED TO ITS LIFE SHOCKING LUNCH
