One of the most suprisingly good meals I have had in a while. In all honesty 'The Snug' is a little untidy but did allow us to have meal with friends in privacy and the management did go out of their way to look after us. The food was wonderful with good sized portions.Overall a very enjoyable evening out.

Went with family for Sunday lunch.Very nice, very friendly. Food plentiful.Would recommend it every day of week!!

The pheasant in cider was magnificent washed down with well kept bitter, a lot fire gave a warmth to the very friendly atmosphere. A great country pub.

Very disappointed. Main course Brocolli was yellow! Meat was very tough and full of sinew. Too much food piled onto plate Starter was good. Pudding mediocre Staff were pleasant Very disappointed We will not return in near future pity as its our local

I've lived close to the dog for 4yrs and never visited. My first time last week and thoroughly enjoyed the food and real ale. I will most certainly be coming back.. thanks all?

We only had about 20 minutes until we had to be back on set we walked straight in got two cheese burgers and fries for £12 fantastic burger and fries and we ordered and was given our food in 17 minutes to take away in a box Simply thank you!

Friendly staff and an amazing meal. Food was spot on, hot and very tasty. Little pricy however do get big portions so definitely worth the money. Had our eyes on dessert but the main was so big neither of us had room. Will definitely return.
