Really enjoyed my stay at Stourport Manor Hotel. The room was clean, cosy, and well-equipped, perfect for a relaxing break. Breakfast was lovely every morning ? fresh, tasty, and with plenty of choice. The staff were kind and always ready to help. The hotel has a calm and peaceful atmosphere, which made the whole experience even better. Would happily stay again and recommend to others!

Had an afternoon tea for two booked here.
After driving over two hours to pick up the friend and fulfil the reservation local to them. It ultimately never ever even took place (I'm now thankful for that) due to absolutely awful service and a complete incompetent mess up from a member of staff named Richie.
Despite previous conversations and previous emails which has been acknowledged and recieved by the hotel. He blatanlty tried to deny that too. There was no accountability, no customer service, no apology and all in all the only care it seems, was making sure he was clocking off at 3pm.
Hogarths Stone Manor over delivered where this place failed abysmally! For the couple of miles difference in distance, go there.

Staff are great, food was not the best but for a flying stay over it's fine

This stay cost >£100 for the night and I feel it is more like £60 of value.
Pros:
+ The bedroom was well sized with a wardrobe, desk and chair,
+ the staff were attentive, though noticeably few in number.
Cons:
- In the room the curtains blocked the radiator meaning you couldn't heat the room and have privacy,
- the room was cold by the time I went to sleep, despite the radiator being on full and there was no blanket or other item I could use in addition to the duvet,
- the mattress felt old/tired and was not very comfortable,
- the bathroom was tiny and there was no water pressure in the bath/shower, making showering unpleasant and difficult,
- the gym and "spa" (small pool and a jacuzzi) costs an extra £5 and did not have access through the hotel, you had to walk around outside to get there. The gym was good for a hotel gym,
- the restaurant food choices are average and the food quality is lower than I expected,
- hot breakfast is made to order, which is a nice change, however the coffee machine is not good and the rest of the breakfast options available are poor. For £17 it's definitely not worth the money.
Overall pretty poor experience and won't be staying here again.

Rooms average but comfortable. Reasonable value for money to stay but wine prices were astronomical for average wine. Really silly and not aligned to hotel which is a slightly aging property. Staff were all very friendly and I'd stay again if nearby but could do wirh some updating in parts.

Do not visit here! We paid a lot of money to have a family Christmas Day meal here, on arrival we were offered arrival drinks, empty glasses were waiting for us. When we were eventually showed to our table the waitress told us she was under a lot of pressure and was unable to take a drinks order from us but would try and get the barman to come to our table, 20 mins later we went to the bar ourselves. There were 7 crackers for 9 of us, all with the same joke and cardboard bookmark, really cheap. We were offered bread but when she got to me they had ran out so I was offered ?the old stuff? which was a stale sliced loaf. The starter was a cold watery soup, the main was such a joke, the pigs in blankets were raw, some of us had 2 carrots some had 4. A glass of wine should have been included in the meal which we had paid for but never got. Overall it was such a poor experience, when we complained I was told they were understaffed but we would be welcome to come and have another meal there, I would never eat there again!

After seeing negative reviews before arriving, I wasn?t sure what to expect, we came for my dad?s surprise 60th birthday, but the rooms were immaculate and very like home with added furniture. Staff were polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go again. Thanks all

My daughter got married here 7 years ago and the service and food was excellent, so we booked a private room for Christmas dinner for 7 adults and 3 children one under the age of 3, we pre booked our meals with pre payment option, before writing the rest of this review I must say i don't like leaving bad feedback but this was a shocking all round service! The turkey and beef was precooked, beef was chewy and turkey was small portion I pre- ordered a leg of turkey and never got it, the table in room had name cards around it with the meals we ordered on the cards, when the staff came to serve us they asked us again what we all ordered the waiter didn't even have a pen and paper so we just gave them our name cards with our selection on them, there was no bred on the table we had ask for that as well as complimentary wine, the christmas pudding was small and not cut from a bigger pudding. The toilets were not refreshed at all in the 4 hours we were there, my wife told me there was no toilet paper in the ladies and I found the mens toilets disgusting as well did the rest of our group. The meal and private room cost over £700 which was a complete rip off, ive had better service in our local pubs compared to this, I sent the stourport manor an email to complain after and a relief manager called Manu responded and addressed me as Claire and told me he was passing my complaint on to a manager called Rachel who never contacted me back, This was the first christmas ever that I have gone home hungry!!
Food and drinks: Dreadful precooked food

We stayed on a quiet day in January and I completely appreciate that things may be different when the hotel is quieter however what we experienced was not the standard we expected. Upon arrival we noticed that our bedroom was cold and the radiator wasn?t on so we went down and asked if there was a way to get it on/ a thermostat we couldn?t find we were told by the reception that the heating was on a timer and the room should warm up soon, we made our way down to the pool and overall it was pleasant although I find it odd that hotel guests then need to pay to use the facilities too. When returning to the room we noticed the room was still very very cold and even our hot water in the bathroom was lukewarm so we decided to report it on the way to breakfast the next morning. We were then told maintenance would come up to the room and take a look, we waited 2 hours in the bedroom for maintenance and they never showed up so we decided to go out! When returning after a long day out we yet again returned to a cold room we went to report this however it was very late and there was no one sitting at the desk. Later that evening at 11:30 pm we received a call from the desk offering us to swap rooms!! We were astounded that this offer was only given to us this late in the evening and also the night before we were checking out, it was truly shocking. The next morning we were rudely woken up at 8 am by a key card being put in our door followed by someone trying our room door handle, they were unable to get into the room due to it being locked but then proceeded to knock loudly, we got up to answer and we where greeted by the maintenance man wanting to fix our radiator! Again we were truly shocked by the lack of care and consideration for us and also we were mostly annoyed that they tried to gain access into our bedroom while we were asleep in there before knocking. Not even mentioning the poor breakfast service, waiting for 15 minutes to be seated ( it was just us in the so-called "restaurant") and having handed out some old crumpled-up menu with nothing more than a Full English breakfast ( the food was just as disgusting as the menu's appearance). Overall our experience was horrific, we were prepared to raise these issues at check out however we were not even asked how our stay was! Both my partner and I work in hotels ourselves and appreciate that January can the a slow month for the business however I think this should be used as an opportunity to look after the paying guests you do have in the hotel.

I have been trying to renew / discuss my gym membership for over a month now with no reply. I have been doing the swim for 3 months and wished to discuss renewing for 6 months through my work scheme, which would require some communication from the hotel.
I have called and keep getting given the info@email address, I?ve even got four direct email addresses and still nobody replies.
I called earlier in the week and was advised by the male I spoke to that he was the general manager and would see to it this would be resolved; it wasn?t, so I called back again to be told there is no male general manager!
I used to work here and am really disappointed with how the customer service is being handled. Such a shame as I did really like the facilities but unfortunately I?ve had to take myself elsewhere.

As a party of 14 we all arrived for the New Years Eve 80s night with 6 course meal & overnight stay.
On arrival the hotel was cold & so were our rooms, apparently the heating is on a timer so you wake up to your room cold in the morning as well.
There was 2 lovely fires in the lounge which should have been roaring and giving out that lovely atmosphere to the hotel but they weren't even lit.
The meal I couldn't fault very nice and good waiter service from the girls, from the meal we then had the evening entertainment in the next room only to find that we didn't have a table for the 14 of us and had to stand , the manager said even though we booked it as a package they don't reserve tables which we found absolutely bizarre!!. The price for 3 pkts crisps was £9 absolute rip off !!
Wine £10 a glass !! £31 a bottle of pinot, several pints of lager were sent back more than once due to been flat and at £13.50 for two pints outrageous prices.
As you've guessed we won't be staying there again anytime soon. To top it off breakfast stopped at 9am next morning ( New years day) .
