It is what it is. A cheap and cheerful carvery at £5.99 per head. A good selection of meat when we were there: Beef, Turkey and Pork. Kids never listen, I told my son not to go for the beef, as it was slightly rare and would be tough. ....and it was.... So he left it..... Other meats were OK. Shame the pork didn't have any crackling. Potatoes were deep fried, but it is what I expect for the price, although not my favourite. Good selection of vegetables. For those that like it, there was cauliflower cheese to go with your choice of vegetables. Devil's food to me, as I can't eat melted cheese. The place was busy, but then again it was a Sunday. We were booked in for 13:30, but told we needed to vacate our table by 15:40. We just managed to comply. Bar staff friendly enough, although the chap serving the carvery looked a bit of a misery. Yep, would go back knowing what I know.
