We ended up talking about upcoming books, recommending books to each other and my wife and I felt so elated to have met someone who clearly loves books and their job. “Haven’t browsed in a large WHS for ages and had forgotten how lovely it was. Lots of stuff that you just don’t see anywhere else. I was particularly fascinated by the “gifts for readers” stand. Everything from a translated bookmark, to flat magnetic “label reader” glasses that you keep on the fridge. Brilliant!”

“Lots of remaindered books, art materials toys and games at lower prices than most. Inside the Kingfisher shopping centre and good disabled access but to narrow aisles between the displays which can be packed. Art materials are ok at best, certainly good for school but little else.”
