We haven't visited this pub for a long time, but were very pleasantly surprised when we returned. I had the steak and ale pie with chips and peas. The pie is a good size with a boat of lovely gravy. My partner had veggie burger and apple crumble and custard which was really tasty too. Jo was great with her service, personality and witty banter making the evening even more enjoyable. Food allergies were asked about ehen ordering. Recommended!!

Excellent experience we had 2 steak amercano 1 scampi we all cleared the plates, staff were very friendly and helpful especially the bar staff,will definitely be coming back again,well done keep up the good work ?

Plenty of parking and a very well presented pub/restaurant. Car park was clean and tidy and the outside of the pub very welcoming. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our table, which was booked in advance. Drinks order was taken quickly and they were promptly delivered. Great menu choices at very reasonable prices. Our food arrived in good time, lovely and warm and tasted great. Portion sizes were good for the money. We were very impressed by our dining experience and the staff made it all the better by being so friendly and helpful.

A lovely place for families, 2nd time we have visited and it's been brilliant. Kids enjoy the meals and portions are just right and the staff are great with kids!
As we were passing on the m5 today, the Crown stood in out memory as somewhere for lunch and didn't regret it!

service was slow because there were only two staff present and the restaurant was quite busy, had to ask the staff for my desert however the food was wholesome and hot and the staff were pleasant, I inadvertantly left a 1* review and this is an edit of that review.
