Visited Malvern Spa Hotel to celebrate my birthday. We stayed from 31/03/25 until 03/04/25.
First night, booked dinner in the hotel, wish we hadn?t! Shared a Camembert starter, it was good but small for 2!
Second course prawn linguine, it was burnt with black pasta a prawns that tasted ?off!?
When we complained, the manager agreed to take them off the bill.
Next morning, hoping for a better offering for breakfast, just too much to hope for! My husband had a bacon sandwich which he enjoyed. There was a sparse, ?continental offering.?
My breakfast consisted of undercooked sausage, mushroom and tomato. Overcooked black pudding and beans!
We refrained from dinners altogether but I continued by having scrambled eggs the next 2 mornings and husband settled for cereals (he felt the safest option)
I had booked into the spa yesterday morning for an express manicure and pedicure. The therapist filed my little toe so much she took the skin right off my toe, ouch!!!!!!.
Various other things were not ok, but I?m just relieved to be home and resting my foot!!!
We won?t be returning to this hotel.
Rooms: Okay but not 4 star
Safety: Not in the spa
Food and drinks: Not good

Wow what an amazing place ! From the moment we walked through the doors we were treated exceptionally. All of the staff we encountered were so helpful and polite and a special thank you to Ollie who helped make the experience special full of laughter and fun.
The food was delicious and can highly recommend the mojitos ! The spa itself although compact was extremely relaxing, clean and the pool was lovely and warm.
Our room was clean, spacious and the bed was so comfortable.
I would highly recommend this place and we will certainly be returning as it?s the staff that make this place such a wonderful destination.

We enjoyed relaxing by the pool however after going for our very nice massage we discovered our things were removed from the table and the loungers we had were in use by another couple with no more available we were very disappointed, obviously it was overbooked maybe we should of been warned beforehand that if you have a treatment you will loose your loungers

Safety: No chlorine smell at all in pool or spa area, surprisingly had really bad stomach and vomiting after a two day stay.

Called as I wanted to speak to someone regarding a potential spa and overnight stay and was promised a call back but that never came. The other 8 times that I called over 2 days the phone just rang off. Awful customer service.

I had a voucher gifted to me for 130£ for Christmas 23. I was planning to use in 2024 but became quite ill and couldn?t use it. The voucher only had a year on it. I spoke to Amy Edwards the assistant manger manager who was unsympathetic to the fact that I had been ill during 2024 and unwilling to extend the voucher. I have spoken to other companies this week where upon extensions due to my illness have been applied to my vouchers.
I found Amy not to be a nice person not moral and just didn?t care. She left me with a really bad impression of the hotel spa. I use lots of hotels spas and have always had good repose with staff but sadly this has been very negative and I would advise not to buy loved ones vouchers from here. I?m
Very shocked with the attitude of the company

Unresponsive. Rang half a dozen times today to make an enquiry but no answer. Not a professional look.

Stayed at the Malvern for a last minute much needed break this week . This was our 5th visit . We stayed in a suite for the first time which was great really luxurious . The Spa was excellent as normal. The one thing that lets the place down is the restaurant!! The staff are very friendly but lack any sort of organisation we waited ages for plates to be taken then the dessert menus were forgotten. The food was good . Breakfast however was very disappointing. It took 35 mins for our order to come . I ordered an omelette which was not an omelette it was a frittata an inch thick and pretty awful . My wife ordered poached eggs which were stone cold . We just left it and went the spa as we didn?t want to waste any remaining time we had in spa before check out . This is not the first time the restaurant has let the spa stay down.

Full body Massage wasn't up to usual standards and overpriced

Both me and my mother came away from this spa very unwell with food poisoning. Don?t recommend at all, when contacted they refused to take any responsibility and only offered generic response.

The spa facilities were great. We enjoyed the pool and steam rooms. The bedroom was spacious and clean. The hotel and spa was very busy though. There weren't many pool loungers free, the restaurant was fully booked and housekeeping seemed to be a bit rushed. A guy working behind the bar was rude. It would be a great place to visit on a quiet day. They just seem to struggle with high volumes of people.

Staff really professional and polite.
However for the money we paid was not worth. The facility doesn't offer many alternatives, people were queuing to go to the jets for the jacuzzi. The steam room, it was not a steam room at all as you could easily see people also there was a noise like a water going through the pipes of the sink. The two sauna nothing bad to say, but the quiet room was cold and and just a normal room with some beds (not even waterbeds) in fact it was empty all the time.
I barely review things, I do if they extremely succeed or badly failed my expectations.

The rooms are getting tired, the WiFi is poor.
The gym is decent and breakfast is very good.
The receptionist this evening was abit grumpy.
Rooms: The heater mirror in the bathroom didn?t work and neither did the extractor fan, there is no electrical sockets near the bed the TV is old, small and tired, the is a small double.
It?s a half decent hotel but well used and things like poor WiFi coverage and tired small tvs just are t good enough now, I understand it?s a spa hotel but still it?s not as good as it could be it stinks of lack or investment to me, oh and the car park is painful to park in.

Very average stay. The location is quite odd, we had an ?amazing? view over Aldi store. Sheets are clean, but the duvet itself had a bed smell and is very old in general. Many things in this hotel are already worn out.
We had a dinner, quite nice starters, but main meal wasn?t good. The duck I had vas very dry (like shredded leftover)
It?s quite an overpriced hotel for the experience you get

We stayed here for one night with use of the spa facilities. The bedrooms are now looking rather tired and could do with refurbishment soon. The spa area is nice though (although it isn't amazing) and we had a relaxing time, the outdoor pool is lovely. We missed the QR codes to order drinks though (they had them last time we visited) and although there was someone taking orders the QR code was much more convenient. We didn't have an evening meal but breakfast was nice.
