I spent a good couple hours here enjoying a quiz night with my family which was well organised, friendly and just difficult enough to be entertaining. Tickets were £1 per person, and sorted a local charity. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back, and maybe get some food next time. Most importantly for me, there were two ciders on tap and neither of them were Strongbow.

Great Pub in the Heart of the Community with a good selection of drinks and great atmosphere. All that's needed is the Sun ???

Nice pub, the fella said he'd just set it up and hadn't got a chef yet so no food. I imagine it'll be nice though as the decor and layout seems nice.

Passed this place a couple of times and saw their ?Dirty Chip? logo so instantly thought ?Street Food Vibe? which I love?Decided to try it when we were in the area. Quiet Saturday afternoon, nobody else in but us. Ordered Hunters Chicken Dirty Chips and Nacho Dirty Chips with a side of pulled pork. The Hunters chicken was ok to be fair. But the rest was diabolical. The tomato sauce on the Nacho chips was just that. Cheap cash and carry tomato sauce. And it was the same for the BBQ Sauce on the pulled pork (which was swimming in it). Both got overpower by the vinegar in the sauce. I would have complained but we didn?t see the server again after the food was served.Better quality ingredients are key. Try using fresh guacamole and fresh tomato salsa. Not from a bottle! Won?t be returning or recommending.

Booked Sunday lunch here as the Royal Oak has now a range of dining experiences on offer from curry and steak nights and Sunday lunch in addition to a menu of pub favorites. The food was well prepared and plenty of vegatables to chose from. Great value for money. The service was friendly. This local pub needs to be supported if it is to remain a local facility for the community.
