The room we had was very underwhelming- it was an economy room but still disappointing.
The actual hotel was fine and both food and service were good.
Very well located for both the town and hills.

Very nice hotel, clear intention and desire for it to be beautifully decorated and of high quality, it does have that feel to it, and overall is very nice. Bar/restaurant areas really very nice. Hotel areas reception/routes to rooms/rooms themselves, do require some touching up (may be being picky, and maybe not been decorated very recently), such as wall and woodwork finishes. The furniture throught including the rooms, and the bathroom fixtures/fittings in the rooms, are all very nice quality. Carpeting throughout very nice quality. To sum up very nice, with more attention to upkeep of paintwork and the such, could be fantastic. We'd stay here again. Overall 4 out of 5.

Great location in Malvern the hotel reception staff were really helpful even showing me where my room was located.
I had an evening meal in the Mulberry Restaurant which was excellent (really hot many restaurants serve up warm food)
Breakfast was again excellent and the staff in the evening and morning wore very friendly and efficient.
I cannot complain about the room as its size is restricted by the fact it?s a very old building. The en-suite was more than adequate with a good shower.
I must add the bed was really comfortable as were the pillows.

The Mount Pleasant hotel is a charming, Georgian building situated in the centre of Great Malvern. The hotel over-looks Malvern town, The Priory Church and has a magnificent view over the Worcestershire countryside.
As a Little Wedding Photographer I feel this venue is perfect, only 5 minutes away from The Malvern Registry Office.

Great location, good food and service. However the room had flimsy curtains which let all light in so awoke at 5am and then there is a slamming door in the corridor which woke us up again at 6am and again at 6:30am. Shame!

Although in a central location, there were many things wrong. There was nobody to greet me at reception when i arrived. The rooms windows were incredibly hard to open, and u found black hairs on one of the beds. The carpet was crusty and there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The shower was also tricky to operate. The staff were nice but i was served a cheese filled omelette having not asked for it. Bad fruit options at breakfast.

from arrival to departure all staff we came in contact with were very polite . the receptionist helped take our luggage to our room. the waiting staff were helpful. checked any allergies.the chiefs were fantastic. the food was of the highest standard. the cleaners did a marvalous job. the room was very big, spacious with lovely views. the car parking was only for hotel visitors. the whole experience was so pleasant. would recommend this hotel to anyone. it is right in the centre of great malvern

A very disappointing stay; whilst we opted for a standard room we were expecting far better for the price we paid. The room we were allocated involved going up and down steps and also walking along an alleyway with no cover that felt slippery in the rain. The steps to get back inside the hotel would have been an issue if we were less mobile. The room itself had a dirty carpet and the towels and bed linen were of inferior quality. The shower had very low pressure.
The breakfast was also disappointing, you had sold out of salmon to accompany the scrambled eggs and whilst we were offered an alternative the eggs themselves were not fluffy as they should be. Also there seemed to be an acute shortage of teapots and as a consequence I had to wait a long time for the hot water I had requested to arrive at my table. I also noted that guests were not served in the order they had arrived in the restaurant.
Whilst there are electrical chargers these are difficult to access and the newly laid surface meant I had red gravel stuck to the bottom of my trainers.

The room was much smaller and darker than shown in the pictures (when booking), with only a small window. Breakfast was simple and not very impressive, though I appreciated the vegan option. The staff were pleasant, the bathroom was clean, and the location is excellent?close to the theatre, cafés, restaurants, and the hills.
