Was a bit skeptical about staying here but turned out to be absolutely amazing. The views are extraordinary and of course the pub food and drinks help. The rooms are large, comfortable, and quite well kept. It is certainly a bit of an uphill walk from the railway station but other than that, right in the middle of town with many things to do and right next to trekking paths if you're planning on exploring the hills.

Good food non plussed staff. Very poor housekeeping. Half the bar covered in empty glasses and cups. Multiple tables left uncleared or wiped. The whole building in need of a deep clean. But the food was lovely.

Great place to stay as central, affordable and some of the rooms are huge. Eating in the pub is ok as food is quick to arrive and good value. Downsides are lack of parking or any grounds other than a smoking area.

Stayed there Saturday in the hotelHad to wait at the reception desk for 30mins as nobody manning it when when down to bar to ask if anybody was available for booking us in was told we are very busy and short staffed someone will be there when we can.Later on in bar ordered a drink on the app and yet again after 30 mins no drinks asked one of the waiting staff where they where and was told probably on the bar and yes when went to the bar there they where just sitting on edge of bar with 5 other trays of drinks do just took them off there. At 1800 decided to have some food went to order at bar as didn?t want to use app and was told that they are not doing food for a couple of hours as they are to busy and need to catch upWill not stay or go there again totally shocking service

Quirky old school hotel with a weatherspoons pub includedOur room was huge warm and comfortable, the floor was interesting as it sloped quite a bit in some placesGreat breakfast with prompt service and friendly staff, great value in all and a brilliant location in the centre of Great Malvern

2nd time visited. Both visits entailed a very long wait for food and drinks whether ordered on the app or at the bar. Both times it looked a little grubby. I am a huge fan of Wetherspoons but this one is very disappointing.

Came here for lunch, food was ok I ordered a mixed grill and pepsi and I had to ask for the drink as it never turned up. The food was overdone as well. I then ordered a warm chocolate fudge cake and it was cold. It's not a bad pub I think someone was having a bad day. If I'm in the area I will go back and try again.

A basic but beautiful hotel in the centre of Malvern. It needs a bit of TLC, but you can imagine how grand it was when it was first built. Also, being a Wetherspoons, the drinks and meals are fantastic value for money. I especially loved the wonkey floors ? and the views out the back. The staff were all polite and welcoming.Walkability: I wouldn't suggest anyone with difficulty walking as I didn't see a lift in the hotel and also the surrounding area is very hilly. (However the pub is ground floor, still go for a pint)!Food & drinks: Had lunch and breakfast here, enjoyed it all.

Visited as a late night stop off the night before my friend's big day. Lovely atmosphere with the locals. Very cheap drinks prices and decent quality cocktails for a wetherspoons. Would visit again.

My daughter and her boyfriend were thrown out this evening after her Citizencard Pass-accredited hologram card was rejected as an invalid ID. Wetherspoons' website lists acceptable ID as:? valid passport (any nationality)? valid photographic driving licence? any ?PASS?-accredited age-identification card? UK biometric residence permit (BRP)? UK military ID? valid photographic European ID? Ireland Age Card (Republic of Ireland only)? NI Electoral Identity Card (Northern Ireland only)She found this experience humiliating and upsetting, and obviously her evening where she had arranged to meet friends was ruined and I had to drive to fetch them back home.If staff are unsure of Wetherspoons' own rules, they should ask a manager before throwing people out.
