Very dated, bedrooms/ bathroom was tired looking. Everytime someone walks across the carpark the security system shouts about cctv. There is also a travellers site next door

NEVER AGAIN! Stayed here as a last minute decision. Checked in late with children, immediately hit with a strong and foul odour in the hallway. Got into the room and it was filthy, not clean, never seen a duster. Bathroom door didn't close, kettle was dirty, carpet wasn't properly hoovered around the edges and skirting was filthy with yellow marks. See images attached. Towels were damp!! I won't be returning.

Nice hotel as you would expect from Travelodge, clean and tidy room, was a bit noisy as we were facing the main road, as usual we had to find somewhere to eat, not too far away were a few pubs to choose from, but no breakfast this time.
Limited wifi unless you pay for it.

so we stayed here for one night and had more problems then we thought, we had two rooms and i will split this in sections.
Parking: so we got to the hotel and this sound was going off so much, about hotel guests and all, we had to take my dog outside at 6am to let him go to the toilet but 4 speakers went off.
WIFI: the WIFI was ok but disconnected so much, and when we tried to join it, we did get it free in the end but we had to use 4 different codes for our stuff.
Rooms: so i stayed in room 5 and the bathroom door had to slam really loud to close and open, there was spiders and cobwebs all over the room, bathroom sink was dirty and the bath was, theres no small fridge so we had to use the bath as a fridge, it got late at night about 10pm and the room smelled so bad we had to use up a whole bottle of spray to get it away, the smell came back in the morning.
Staff: the staff was nice but there was one women that had attitude with us because the wifi and all, but they changed shifts after a while, i was glad about that.
but this hotel isn?t the best and when i went it was a 2 star, i don?t recommend, and i wish i paid a extra £100 for the hotel in town.

I had reason to visit this site and was shown round by the onsite manager at the time. The standard of cleanliness within the property was superb and it had some nice fun touches for younger guest both inside and outside. Many years ago there was a little chef that shared the site and I was a bit disappointed that the only nearby choice for food was an indian restaurant, a nearby petrol station or a pub up the road. As a coeliac, if i was travelling for business, i would more likely choose the Kidderminster site just for more food variety close by.
The vending machine was unable to supply drinks or guests on a very warm day and the car park is in desperate need of repair.
I was also very disappointed to see that the beautiful fields view from the back of the property was now tainted with a permanent gypsy caravan park, which the manger tells me is local council approved.
Considering the lodge used to be surrounded by such natural beauty and was served by a more generic food establishment previously, I think the staff at the lodge have worked hard to maintain the interior and are doing well to keep the overal look and feel of the lodge to a high standard compared to others i have seen in the last 12 months.

Nat! Loved their personal touches to the hotel, the addition of the train set for kids to play with in reception is a fab idea. Room was a bit warm but what travelodge room isn?t. If you do stay here a visit to Aromas 8848 opposite for dinner is a must!

Boris the hotel cat ???

I'd give Nat and Boris 5 stars if there was a couple more options to choose from above, very welcoming front of house with a great fashion sense. I'll be wearing my pink flamingo summer suit next time I'm down as the weather was fab and the garden at the front of the hotel is nice to sit in. Rooms are standard travel lodge, could maybe do with a slight modernisation but it does what it needs to do for an affordable price

I stayed in an accessible room for two nights at the Travelodge Hartlebury.
The staff are very friendly and very helpful.
No sockets by the bed, so would have had to charge my phone across the room, which would worry me (although there is an emergency call button on the headboard). But I was able to borrow an extension lead, so no problem on this visit.
My room - right next to Reception - was very comfortable, lots of good pillows, towels, kettle, tea/coffee and a fan. Everything was clean, tidy and in good repair.
Shower is over the bath, but it does not have particularly low sides, so it was a bit tricky. My main problem was lifting the shiny knob that diverted the water from the bath to the shower!
As with other Travelodges, there is an upright grabrail at the shower end of the bath, but not on the back wall, so nothing to hold onto if you turn away from the shower.
The only other thing with the bathroom is the toilet was a bit high for my little legs!
Recyclable items are collected separately, which is a good facility, that I used.
Food can be had at a Nepalese restaurant (Aromas 8848) on the other side of the car park, a pub restaurant (The Mitre Oak) 2 minutes away by car, or takeaway from Greggs at an Esso garage on the way to the Mitre Oak.
So a very enjoyable visit, I will be very happy to visit again.

There's lot's of free parking and the receptionist was so friendly.
There's a kids toy train set in the reception and gnomes outside, which was a lovely touch.
My room was clean and well presented with the curtains closed to stop the sun coming in.
The heater was hanging off the wall, unfortunately, but not needed in the summer.
The bathroom was lovely and clean with free shower gell.
The bed was comfortable and had a choice of pillows.
It was a very peaceful location with no road noise. The fan was very useful on a hot night.

2 night stay on the way back from Minehead to enjoy the West Midlands Safari park before heading home Sunday. The hotel is the usual Travelodge standard which is clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The location is just off the main road but does not suffer road noise.

Not good, without transport, in the middle of nowhere and just off a dual carriageway. It's clean and tidy, but the only food nearby is an Indian cuisine restaurant or a 10-minute walk on a busy road to a garage with a Greg's and a small Asda.
If for business, it's well-connected, but, but for a family with no car who have just lost their home, wouldn't be my first choice to stay
