Great collection of clothing. Decently priced. My only negative would be the changing rooms. They could be better some of the rooms don't have any hangers on the walls or mirrors.

Actually my review was misplaced, as it was meant to be posted to Webuyanycar who operate an office adjacent to the Matalan store.
I did not visit or even enter the Matalan store, therefore have No opinion either good or bad about Matalan. Sorry for any confusion.

Outside of store always looks dirty and unkempt few staff to help customers. Poor location in a rundown part of town. Parking ok but feels unsafe and exposed.

Despite volunteers picking up litter in Matalan car park, it remains a dump! They made £1.082 million profit between 2023-2024 and they can't keep it clean themselves! How long must volunteers wipe thier bums for them?

I don't know if it's just me but this place screams boring! Attended on a Saturday so this place should have been booming with customers? Dead! Matalan on a whole needs to get more up market to compete with the new rivals. Give us something refreshing... Please?
