Update: refund through PayPal resolution centre. I also hadn't heard anything from them in two weeks\\n\\nThis company, which trades under T H Baker and House of Watches (same staff) told me I could return a faulty watch for \\\"exchange or refund\\\" but when it arrived they immediately sent it back to the manufacturer for checking and possible repair.\\n\\nThe problems so far:\\n1. Didn't acknowledge receipt of the watch for 2 days after I emailed to check if it had arrived, by which time it had been sent away\\n2. Did not mention in any emails that their policy is to send watches to the manufacturer if they think they've suffered accidental damage\\n3. Misleading information in their initial responses to a request for a refund\\n4. Tried to phone ONCE on one of the two numbers on my paypal account to let me know they would send it back but couldn't get through. Then sent me an email missing out why they would be sending it back\\n5. I recieved these emails after it had been sent back so I was unable to recall the watch\\n6. The watch is legally mine but it was sent to the manufacturer for 6-8 weeks without my permission\\n7. They refuse to give me a refund. So they now have both my money and my watch\\n8. Would have charged me for repairs had I not intervened and requested that the watch be sent back directly to me at their expense.\\n9. Roger, Head of ECommerce has not provided me with proof that the watch has gone to Casio, nor accepted any culpability for the poor communication.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE AT ANY COST!! We bought a 2000-pound watch with free international delivery that takes maximum 10 business days. The tracking number they gave us with royal mail (should be DHL or similar for something that expensive) on the 11th day was saying that the royal mail didn?t receive the package yet! After many phones calls and with emails claiming for refund the deliver the product to them taking another 16 days to reach me. I called them again and the said they are affected by the strikes but on their website, it says ?we are not affected by royal mail strikes?. For my sake the watch is working, can?t imagine what it takes to get refund from this store. There is absolute 0 customer service. They answer 1 in 10 emails, and they have a rude lady answering the phones giving 0 solutions to your problems. I don?t even know why they still exist as a company. AVOID THEM.

What a useless company this is. Bought a watch for my wife and it arrived not working. Sent it back at my cost and asked for a refund inc. my postage fee. Then emailed them again when I checked the tracking and it had arrive to confirm I wanted a refund. 2 days later it arrives by post. No refund for my postage. What a shambles. Avoid these useless cowboys at all cost.

Avoid! Order a watch for my sons 21st and had it gift wrapped. A Raymond Weil at over £650.Thought I would take a quick look and its a good job I did. The watch did not work!!! Also, manufactures time stamp shows this 'new' watch is already 4 years old!!\\nCustomer service very hard to get through and not a great deal of help, simply send it back for so we can check it! Now have nothing to give my son on his 21st. Avoid!!!

Ordered a new RW Freelancer Dive watch which arrived promptly. Unfortunately the watch received was far from new and was missing packaging and tags. The watch was well used with scratches, dirt and dinks. The only saving grace being that they refunded the payment quickly once it had been returned. Very disappointed.

Really poor customer service. Ordered a watch almost two weeks ago and still haven?t received it, chased via email with no reply, so rang a day later to be told it was with a courier and therefore wasn?t their problem anymore.\\nApparently a courier had been and left a calling card - nobody has knocked on my door or indeed left any cards.\\nI rang the courier (as this company refused to do so) who were equally as unhelpful and my watch may or may not arrive within the next few days but other parcels will be prioritised.\\nThe watch (for a birthday gift tomorrow) now probably won?t arrive so I will have to get something else.\\nI ordered from here to save a few pounds. Moral of the story - don?t bother ordering from here to save money, instead invest a bit more to deal with a place with good service.\\nThings can and do go wrong for sure - but why don?t companies adopt an own it attitude instead of this blame culture and a ?no longer my problem attitude?\\n\\nAvoid buying from here.

The most AWFUL service i have ever received. Absolutely no customer service skills, false offering of next day delivery, and fake promises of price matching. Customer service lack brains and had to ask the same questions over and over. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE CROOKS. See below review below about sending scratched watches. Mine was also scratched. I?ll also be reporting them if they dont provide a resolution. Failing that DO A CHARGEBACK WITH YOUR BANK if you also suffer at the hands of these rogue traders! I?ll take them to court if i have to!

I ordered a yellow G-Shock from House of Watches. It arrived the next day and I was delighted. I was also impressed with the thorough packaging of the piece.The bit that I was incredibly pleased with was that the watch was completely setup for time, date, country and so on. This particular G-Shock is quite complicated and I was relieved to have it delivered in this way. I checked the time, date and day against my iPhone and it is spot on. Many thanks to the House of Watches. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again from this company.

First watch returned as faulty, second watch returned as faulty.Promised rebate of postage costs on both.Received half by cheque, half by PayPal.Is it the 1990s, who's sending cheque's out nowadays?! especially to someone who banks online and will have to spend more on petrol and parking to get to a branch to pay it in than the cheque is worth.Poor.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !This Sekonda watch strap broke after only a few weeks of light use.Paul at House of Watches said that only the movement was covered under warranty (not the strap), but I could send it back whereupon they would send it to Sekonda but the whole process could take 8 weeks.I suggested they 'do the right thing' by me the customer and simply send out a replacement, but his hands were tied,... and if I escalated it to a manager,... they would tell me the same thing.Extremely disappointing customer service in this day and age ! !I won't be buying anything from House of Watches again !
