I have just left the Kidderminster store, what a really great experience. I have an issue with my cycle, little or no knowledge and have spoken with a great chap.
Edric was so helpful, knew what needed to be done and offered several options. He spent 20 minutes explaining these options to me and has organised the work to be completed and at the cost of twenty pounds!
Fantastic customer service and when the opportunity arises I will certainly return and highly recommend him and the team there.

The tent area is outside so if it's raining you get to see how waterproof they are. Its not the biggest store in the UK. That pic is an old one. It's a good store though.

Went into get some fishing supplies and was served by Romie what a pleasant well mannered efficient young lady she was offered excellent customer service that was polite and prompt thank you Romie ?

I recently received a £100 parking fine for overstaying by just 15 minutes at the Go Outdoors store in Kidderminster. The signage in the car park is poorly visible, and there was no clear warning about the limited parking time or the hefty penalty. This is especially unreasonable given that the store is very large and it naturally takes time to browse, try on equipment, and make informed purchases. I was a genuine customer and feel this fine is completely unfair. I won?t be returning, and I?d advise others to be very cautious ? check for hidden parking restrictions before shopping.

Very disappointed went and bought rug from Baylor?s side of shop so helpful went to till didn?t come up with reduced price that?s fine but girl on til was so rude she didn?t speak to me just went straight to intercom to ask for price check made me feel like I was a thief lying she could have said oh let me check and put me at ease but made me feel so uncomfortable if it wasn?t for how much help lady in Baylor?s had bed n I would have walked out I tried to have joke to ease the uncomfortable atmosphere but I feel she should have done that she just sighed like I was a nuisance/ thief trying to get rug for cheap price and when I was proven right she never said a thing I felt so uncomfortable if I see her on desk will never go to her again very rude needs some lessons in customer service as behaved like she didn?t want to be there very disappointed

Shocked at the lack of Customer Service.
We first went to Winfield's 5 Astwood Lane, Feckenham
Redditch, looking for DofE kit for our 13 year old daughter.
We were looking for all kit, from Boots, Socks, etc etc. They did not have any trousers or coat, so we travelled all the way to Go Outdoors Kidderminster to see if we could get the trousers and coat from there. No luck.
However the difference between the two stores was amazing. In Go Outdoors the staff we appalling. I saw 3 members of staff standing around having a private chat, so I hovered politely waiting for one to notice me. Finally they did, asked what I wanted, I asked for help. They said, yes but with what, almost raised eyebrows kind of comment. When I informed them, they got on a walkie talkie and asked someone to help, they then continued their private chat. The lady who came up, again, looked like she felt working was a chore. Could not help us as they did not have any stock either.
My 13 year old daughter was also just as shocked as me at the difference between the two stores. From now on, Winfield's will be my store of preference. Go Outdoors, really needs to invest in customer service. Winfield's staff, always approach with a smile, and are approachable. They go the extra mile to help you.
I then drove back to Winfield's and purchased a rucksack and camping mug. All in all Go Outdoors missed out on nearly £200.00 of sales.
Well done Winfield's keep up the good work.

Purchased items that were marked up discounted to be told that if u have membership..it wasn't displayed as that . Staff were not helpful attitude

I wanted a pair of good quality substantial shoes for dog walking. The choice is immense. Fortunately Dave E was incredibly helpful. He narrowed my search down to 2 options and I bought a pair of Berghaus Hillmaster GTX. They are excellent.
