Just dropped by Boots Opticians, Kidderminster on the off chance as the screw on my glasses had popped out followed by the lens. I wanted to see if they had a replacement screw. On arrival I was greated by the beaming smile of Chloe who took the glasses and both fixed and cleaned them within a couple of minutes, and pleasantly surprised to hear there was to be no charge - full marks to Chloe and Boots Kidderminster for customer service

Took a pair of glasses into Boots to have new pads fitted the assistant who fitted the pads broke the frames and did not say anything, we found the break that evening and took the glasses back the following day. The manager said the glasses were out of warranty and we would have to buy a new pair. This is the most discusting service I have ever received and Boots should be ashamed that they allow franchises of this type.

Shopped on a Friday lunchtime. It wasn't too busy. I found what I wanted, took to the till to pay, and asked about the box displayed with the item. Such a shame is was only a display box. It had a picture of the item on it and would have made the perfect gift box.
