So so so lovely!! We came as we are staying at an Airbnb nearby and the hosts recommended this place and it did not disappoint. I had the tikka masala curry and it was pretty decent for a pub curry!! My boyfriend had the ultimate chicken burger and it was incredible, the gravy and hashbrown combo never fails.
Only let down was no gammon steak or actual steak but it?s fine.
We also came when it was 40% off so it was totally a bargain for what we had vs what we paid :)

Good wine options and chips were excellent. Other food very variable. Hunters chicken good, sausages and mash OK (not great) and steak baguette terrible (I asked for medium rare - it was well cooked and tough and miniscule amount, the baguette was hot but stale and was inedible). It was a public holiday so maybe no fresh food but should not offer food that is not fresh. Would go back for drinks but not eat there again. Read other reviews that said food was great. Maybe an off day but not not a great experience for us. Gave feedback, did not seem that interested!

Popped in for a Sunday dinner with the family. Thoroughly enjoyed it, beef was cooked perfectly, melt in the mouth. Will come again.

Came for Sunday lunch, excellent service and friendly staff. We both had roast turkey came with all trimmings generous portion and was very tasty, we definitely will be coming back soon.

Fantastic pub. We popped in for a quick lunch whilst viewing a property in the area (Food and service was impeccable). If we do end up moving nearby, this place will become a regular haunt!
