I rarely write reviews, but after two great visits to the Jockey this week—one for drinks and takeaway fish and chips, another for breakfast—I wanted to share my experience. The food was tasty, the service (especially from Lilly) was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming - thank you.

10 of us ate here for Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday. The food was very very good, the service was on the slower side but we didn’t mind. However, at 18:05 (5 minutes after closing, bill already paid, with only 2 half full glasses on our table, the rest empty) we were asked “any chance my staff could go home”.... read full comment

Food very good but service needs to be addressed. No communication on arrival regarding busy kitchen, 20 minutes to wait for a drink until I got up and went to ask, service very slow and missing out on extra sales for drinks and sides.
