Sunday lunch was very dissapointing, they had run out of beef and instaed opted for the duo thatincluded a bit of gammon and a chicken leg. the vegtables were turnips and carrots that were not appealing and a tiny bit of broccali. I would not go again for a sunday roast.

Unwelcoming manager to begin. We arrived early without realising that it opened at 10. We were there at 9.40 and were told it wasn?t open. We decided to wait and then go in. The same manager was unfriendly, at times I felt that whenever she walked past that I was had cold glances and felt unworthy to be there. This sounds incredibly particular and almost ridiculous the way I?m wording this but I felt like my friend and I weren?t welcome. It was like we were were prejudged. Not on whatsoever. I?d make anyone and everyone welcome. Not only is it good business; it?s good manners! I will say that a waitress with mousy brown hair was very kind and lovely which was great. However, the manager didn?t impress me and I won?t be returning. It?s a shame because I?ve been a number of times and this was the worst experience that I?ve had. Never been treated with such contempt at a restaurant.

Very disappointing, some of the Christmas dinner was shop bought frozen food (roasties/veg etc.) which you do not expect when you are paying over £20 per head, we were left waiting for quite a while to be seated, but accept it was busy, the worst part was the extremely unwelcome and rude manager! Who was rude, sarcastic and down right awful !

Visited with family for my Birthday, first time at this pub and was not disappointed. Staff were nice and courteous, good choice of ales , food was excellent. Will be returning soon

Very busy but the staff and especially the lads behind the bar couldn't do enough for us! We were a big party, food was good value for the money! Ales were very good too! Great night!

The place was very busy, surprisingly for a Wednesday. It is always good to book, there were people wandering around looking for a table, so many were pre-booked. Food was quite acceptable, staff were friendly and efficient.

Midweek treat and a catch up. Though it was very busy we didn?t have long to wait for our food. Food cooked to perfection and very well presented. Thanks to Rich and Tony who were very friendly and jolly.

We have been going to The Foley for several years on a regular basis and always enjoyed the food there. Today it was no different, a lovely lunch followed by dessert and coffee. We were served by Vicky as usual, she is always very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. All the team are very friendly and there is always a nice atmosphere. Thank you!

Surprising friendly and helpful team. We visited this evening for something to eat as a last minute decision. We haven?t been here for awhile because of the lack of welcoming. I have to say coming from a Customer service background that it felt like there was a team working here and wanting to give the same experience. I spoke and was served by at least 4 people behind the bar and they were all friendly, helpful and welcoming. It just made the pub and the experience feel different. So many pubs/restaurant lack this today. The food was great and came out quickly although they were busy. We will definitely been visiting because there was a remarkable difference in the management and feel since our last value.

We love coming to the foley arms, mainly due to all the staff, all so friendly and welcoming, great clean pub that is friendly and child friendly too.Parking: Never struggle to park plenty of room

Visited for lunch the two course deal was good value the mushrooms were particularly enjoyable. The batter on the fish was really poor hence the dropped point
