We booked a particular table in advance, but when we arrived this table was already taken by another couple. Food was ok'ish, service poor and music aweful. Interior was also so-so. Not worth a visit.

Went for Sunday lunch but it wasn't as good as last year, think it might have new management.

Great food and drinks

Myself and a dozen colleagues had booked a table for my farewell dinner. Despite us all having chosen our food a week previously, service was slow. I had the Thai fishcakes that were bland and had not been seasoned. A long wait then for the main course, I'd chosen the chicken and chorizo tagliatelle and wish I hadn't. The pasta was just a huge congealed mass with 5mm of oil sat in the bottom of the bowl. I left most of it, a colleague who had the same had one mouthful and left the rest. For dessert I asked for two scoops of vanilla and one scoop of chocolate ice cream, was served three vanilla, the ice cream was half melted and what was left of the scoops were sitting in an inch of melted ice cream. Yes, it was a warm evening but it must have been plated up ten minutes prior to serving.
As far as I could see, there was just one other couple dining, so why service was so slow I have no idea. The food was at best well below average and had it been just myself and my wife, I would have sent the tagliatelle back. But it was a work's dinner and so I ate what was edible and left the rest.
For the prices charged, you would expect far better than what we were served, only plus side was that our waiter was a pleasant and friendly chap.

Nice ambience and excellent value afternoon tea.

Came here with my other half.
The food was lovely and the staff were friendly.
Quite surprised with the burger as although it was small, it was quite filling. Definitely quality over quantity.
The rum old fashioned was a disaster though, very cheaply made while being quite expensive.
Recommend coming here, just avoid that cocktail ?

Wonderful experience at The Mulberry Tree in Malvern. Excellent at catering to dietary requirements and the customer service was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

A very pleasant place, but my chicken was underwhelming. Although we waited for ages, no one asked us if we wanted a desert or a cup of tea after the main course. It felt as though we were invisible. Fortunately Malvern has plenty of good coffee/tea shops, so we went elsewhere.

So disappointing. I chose it and have let my friends down. Menu very short and the occasion we visited only one starter was available. Three of the four mains served got negative comments. Should have stayed at home.

My daughter took me to the Mulberry Tree for my birthday. I have to say it was exceptional, from the moment we walked in. Service first class, food excellent, atmosphere great. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about going. Will definitely go back.

The worst steak I?ve had in a long time and the service was slow. A friend had the fish which was fine. More of a cafe feel than a restaurant.

Brilliant place for food and drink

The fish and chips were OK. The burgers were served without any garnish which I have not experienced before. The butternut squash gratin was awful and we sent it back. A slimy layer of butternut squash on some green beans - a really poor show. I would not be in a hurry to go back here.
