A nice pub for a drink

We arrived at the pub on a cold wet Thursday evening, looked at the menu posted outside and decided to pop in. We were directed by a couple of locals outside into the eating side. The atmosphere was welcoming, as were the staff. We ordered faggots and mash, and lasagne. It was lovely. Hot and freshly cooked, decent portions very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely Sunday Lunch, food was piping hot and there were 7 yes 7 veg on the plate as well as roast,boiled potates and a parsnip! Super service If you are not a big eater I'd advise the small plate it is more than enough. Can't rate the puddings as no room left! Definitely will be going back.

I was told this was the oldest pub in Evesham! A proper local, the people, the service, the landlady were amazing and super welcoming! The place is full of character, the mini garden (at the back) was magical. Highly recommend! Great people!

Only had a drink there meeting up with friends but a pleasant experience in the lovely courtyard at the back.
Also dog friendly but not in the restaurant.

Staying In Evesham for a few days , popped in here with my dog , on a walk , the staff We're lovely, and even the locals were all welcoming and chatty , little fountain in the beer garden was chilling, my dog was hungry as he doesn't eat dog food, the cook brought him some fresh chicken , how kind and beautiful was that , definitely go in again x really enjoyed it

Stopped in randomly for drinks on a Saturday as we heard it was dog friendly and had a good atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The staff were great towards our 3 year old and our dog was happy to be allowed inside. The ale was on point as well. We are looking forward to returning very soon!
