Visted here a few times this year and love the oldy woldy café. The menu has a good selection at great prices. A Lovely place to stop and have light refreshment. You can only pay via cash not card.

We found this quaint, curious place off the market place and went in for a late afternoon cup of tea and a snack. We sat at the front of this establishment and were served by a couple of elderly people whom we took to be the owners. Two of us had the Evesham cream tea. This turned out to be rather strange. We were pretty sure that the thin scones were not that new and they crumbled when you tried to cut into them. But nonetheless they were edible enough when you heaped on the whipped cream and strawberry jelly jam. The tea was served in those awful stainless steel pots which I can never get to pour well without dripping everywhere. This was also curious as there were many display tea pots everywhere which would have been much nicer to use. Before leaving I made the journey to the top of some steep stairs to the first floor to visit the restrooms which were OK. Certainly OK for those nimble on their feet but no way possible for my aged parents. All in all, a strange experience - like some other reviewers have said - a little bit like going back in time...

Local café for local people. Like a time capsule of mmmm 1960's menu and service. Think wow filter coffee is a great idea isn't it. Decor and service has not moved on, and service was on the grumpy, "what! You want more salad than 2 slice tomatoe and two slices of cucumber with your baked potato" who would of thought of lettuce with that meal option. And then cash only payment. I suppose bad but good just for the trip back in time.

Quaint coffee and tea rooms between Market Square and Abbey Park. The service was fast and the food (pastie and bacon bap) very tasty. Much nicer than visiting a chain coffee shop.

Grumpy old owner who ignored complaint from elderly lady. I complained about pathetic food and quality and was told to take it or leave it. I left it.Don?t go anywhere near.Cash only - no receipt. Always arouses my suspicions.

Very dirty place, especially the toilets. They also only take cash and don't give you a receipt. Owners are not very welcoming and food was average, so would not recommend.

Traditional cafe in an old black & white building! Home made cakes and food. Very good value.

First time I have visited Evesham stumbled on this hidden away small cafe. Big range of quality home made food including pies and cakes. Generous portions and served with excellent salad and friendly staff.

It was nice to visit for tea and cake, nice warm welcome. The inside of the shop shows character that goes with the age of the shop and not spoilt by 21st century plastic.

We had a lunch here when on a shopping trip to Evesham and I was really surprised to read some of the reviews on here when we got home. The panini was one of the best that my husband and had and my spinach and mozzarella quiche was clearly home made with lots of filling and salad on the side. The service was really friendly too. Would much rather support a local business than the chains. We sat outside in the square and it would have benefitted from a bit of a tidy but, having said that, the rest of the square was no different. Would certainly stop by again when in Evesham.

As visitors to the town we were looking for a coffee stop and considering tables were restricted to outside only there was a fair choice of cafes. Coffee was filter and served in small cups. The tea cakes were thin and a little dry, I did not really mind them being pre buttered, since the alternative is hard to spread packaged butter, often straight out of the fridge. There were no toilets available. Staff were friendly enough though.

Absolutely love this cafe! Gorgeous old building, stunning mini life like cathedral set into the wall and lit up, a lovely dolls house in a glass cabinet and a huge collection of teapots to look at while you eat there, amazing food! Generous portions, amazing taste, can highly recommend their hot chocolate too! Lovely couple that run the building, we had a nice chat, have been back several times ? and will go back again and again

Good food made fresh. Had a tuna sandwich and ham sandwich both good quality and a very generous serving of fruit pie which was top notch home cooking style. Proud to support this small local business
