Random stop on way from Barry to Stratford one Friday evening, kitchen was closed due to a fault but they did a bbq. Best burger I?ve ever had. Friendly staff. Wish we could have stayed all evening

New owners have done some amazing work in giving the village their pub back. Great selection of drinks, amazing staff and fantastic atmosphere. Highly Recommended! Cant wait for the kitchen to open

Fab carvery, every veg thought of and all the meat tender and tasty. The homemade cheesecake was wonderful also. All the staff very attentive and courteous. Would 100% return if we was in the area again.

Stopped off here on our way back down from the Peak District for the Sunday Carvery and it was delicious. Couldn?t fault it at all. Lots of choice at the carvery, all piping hot and veg tasted fresh. We had a warm chocolate brownie with ice cream and a cheesecake for dessert and it was superb. Best carvery we?ve had in a long time.

Great food, great staff, great all-round
Food and drinks: The food is perfectly cooked and hot. The drinks are the usual pub fare together with a selection of craft beers.

Had been a fair few years since I?d been here. Now a carvery type place but not like the average carvery, food was always fresh and you get a slot to go up so aren?t shoulder to shoulder. Food was still just as good though!
Food & drinks: The food here is so good, always a pleasure when eating.

Moho Stop over. No hesitation in going back for overnight. Looking forward to friendly professional Staff and yummy Food worth the wait. beer not the best would have liked a bottle as turnover seamed a bit slow, beer in pipes to long served warm, staff did try hard to serve a decent pint pored some off, just be carefully what you order or pick a busy time, not put off thou.

I had my birthday meal with my sons and family lovely food and the staff was so good nothing to much trouble would highly recommend you try there food.

We were told that we hadn?t been called to get our carvery when we went to get our food having not been before and no one told us this was embarrassing! While there was a good choice of vegetables they were not very warm! Yorkshire pudding was cold! Carrots cold! Roast potatoes dry!
As for pudding sticky toffee pudding was also served cold??
Staff not very attentive as understaffed for the amount of customers!
Overall very disappointed!
