Went with my husband and daughter for mother's day. We all had the two course set menu which was excellent value for money. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. Although it was busy service was quick and we weren't hurried. Highly recommended.

Went Sunday 18 Feb 2024, had a great meal the staff were very pleasant especially the young lady I called the cinnamon girl, full marks to the chefs.A great afternoon out with the family!

Found this in Google Maps when the steakhouse we usually use when driving through Bromsgrove was full. What a good find: friendly prompt service, good home cooked food. Very good value for money, think we?ll be back!

The pub was recommended by a work friend a few years ago, and we haven't really looked back since then. This is a first option for family meals and have returned many times. My mother opted to have a large family meal for her 60th birthday and the restaurant went all out to make sure everything was in hand prior to the meal. All pre-orders were taken, questions were answered and before the meal they double-checked peoples orders before bringing the food out. Following on from that, the food came out pretty quickly. Would highly recommend this place for any kind of meal, especially if you prefer independent places. Very friendly and accommodating staff and the prices are very fair. Also big shout out to Alex who handled the booking and ensuring everyone got the correct meal.

Reasonably priced pub restaurant with good selection for children to eat. I ate a small fish and chips and it was huge!Kid-friendliness: High chair available.

We had booked a table for 6 on a Saturday afternoon for 1.45pm and arrived a little early but our table was ready. Two celiacs and one vegetarian in the party. The server brought a special folder out to identify which gluten free meals could be provided from the menu. Lovely food, attentive and freindly staff and a warm and lovely atmosphere made this daily gathering extra special. Thank you.Vegetarian options: Small but varied vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free catered for.

Unfortunately we seem to have gone on the wrong day when the stocks were low and lots of things were unavailable. Table for 10 booked for 2 families of 5 meeting for a post Christmas get together. We hoped to enjoy a good roast dinner only to find they had run out of cauliflower cheese and didn't have enough pigs in blankets for us all. Then when it was time for a second round of drinks, they informed us there was no diet coke as that had run out with no alternative offered. Further frustration with desserts as options were limited due to no ice cream (which took out most of the menu) and then after ordering we were later informed there was no squirty cream either and no brownies (for the brownie topped waffle) ?. Shame no-one could do the 5 minute walk down the road to the local Co-Op to restock a few basics and keep customers happy.

We visited the Royal Oak on 28/12/23 to have a family meal in memory of our dear Mum. The owner, Jacob, & his team made us very welcome and were attentive to our needs throughout the meal. The food was served hot, was well presented & portions were large. There was a good choice of food available, including vegetarian. Everyone enjoyed their meals including starters, mains, desserts & coffees. Staff were polite, welcoming, friendly & engaged well with us ensuring our dining experience was positive. Nice visit to this pub/restaurant would definitely recommend, food was good , also a good range of vegan dishes. Service was good and attentive.
