Shocking customer service, I booked a treatment in for my partner and when I cancelled well within the pre designated timeframe they still charged me, I did query this and explained the circumstances but was met with an extremely rude and uncompromising person who said ?if you challenge this decision we will show your bank our policy?

I have been going to Alicia since she opened up at her house since I was 17 years old in 2018, 2 months after the company was established. Since my first appointment I have been going to her for my brows and had started going to her for gel nails/nail extensions. I was hoping to be able to book every single month for infills. I had missed my appointment by accident which I was massively apologetic for and was told to send £76 over via bank transfer for the missed appointment. This wouldn?t have been so bad if she hadn?t mentioned she had my bank details on file and that she could take the money from my account without my permission. She mentioned she had my bank details on file from the very first message which came across as a threat. This particular booking was made via Instagram direct message and not the booking site, I did not sign the policy on that occasion. The policy which was posted later on in the evening on Instagram stated that The House Of Beauty does not hold your bank details and that they are securely stored by Stripe, the online payment processing platform. Clearly this is not a true statement. Unfortunately, being a loyal customer isn?t enough to cover you for a genuine mistake without threats and unfortunately one of her first customers wants to take their business elsewhere.
