Ordered an English breakfast, which at nearly £16 was already expensive, on ordering I asked for the bacon to be switched with avocado and the waitress wrote the order down and walked away with no issues. When I went to pay I was presented with a bill of £19 for my meal and no drinks. When I queried it, after annoyingly having already tapped my card (the waitress did not mention ?add on? or read the price out loud) she said it was £19 because the avocado was £3.50, when I said that I asked for it to be swapped she just replied that they don?t do swaps. Considering I was not told this at any point prior to ordering nor did it say it on the menu - as a £19 breakfast would have changed my mind - this was ridiculous. I don?t normally do reviews but I thought that it?s 1. Ridiculous to not do swaps at a reasonably expensive brunch place and 2. If this is a rule it should be explicitly stated when ordering.

Loved no3a! Good atmosphere on a Friday evening with great live music. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't eat but everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked amazing ?

I found the setting and the decor to be really nice, however I was disappointed by the slow service. Mains took a long time to come out, and no asking if we wanted another drink after we had run out, we had to find staff to ask ourselves. I feel it would have been courteous to offer, particularly as the food was taking so long.
We had a selection of small plates to start which were very nice, but the mains were disappointing, my gyros was overloaded with fries, and only a small amount of chicken, which was dry.

Brilliant chance find! I've been in Bromsgrove over the weekend (first visit to the town) and while walking from the town centre to the train station, I found No3a. The food, drink, service and atmosphere were so good that I went both days ?. Would definitely recommend (and I may well find a reason to revisit Bromsgrove just so that I can come back for a 3rd visit ?). I had the classic French toast with bacon and maple syrup - not listed, so I couldn't just tick it on the review - and warmed croissant with butter and jam.

We came and ate here yesterday for breakfast. I brought my dog with us and the staff couldn't be lovelier, bringing her treats and water throughout our time there. The breakfast was delicious and so were the coffees. The staff were fabulous, I wish we had got the names of the two women who served us, as they were brilliant. We will be back !

Love the place and food, however does get quite noisy due to atmospherics from conversations
