Went into the cafe here and ordered what was described in the menu as a hot meat bap with chips. What actually turned up was three sausages in a dry bun with a handful of thin french fries smothered with salt, not even proper chips. That cost £14.50p, an absolute rip off. Must admit that the atmosphere at the Jinny Ring is not what it used to be. Not as many craft shops and in my humble opinion the restaurant isn't as welcoming as it used to be. Also seems that with the meals the portion size has decreased while the prices have increase.

Beautiful location - we went for coffee and it was disappointing, as was the too sweet, dry slice of cake.
