Generally poor service from HSBC on business banking telephone issues. Went into Bromsgrove branch (not a business bank) and manager and counter staff sorted my request in minutes. Well done and thank you

Whilst paying American chqs in I was rudely told that the chq was well out of date. The young guy on the counter clearly didn?t realise that Americans write their chqs differently, so the date was indeed correct. So I popped out to make a quick call to my partner to confirm this. Then went back in to pay the chqs in to then wait and overheard the young guy telling another member of staff, but the way he was telling them was disgusting, making me out to look stupid. When I got to the counter I explained that the date was indeed correct and it was only then that he looked like the silly one. Nevertheless he should not of been talking/ belittling a customer like that! Plus he should of known about the chq date as surely they have staff training! It was intact my partner?s business acc, I would never bank there as clearly they do not respect their customers!

This is the worst branch ever. I needed help with my son?s account but in Bromsgrove the bank is closing 3:30pm every day and closed at the weekends. And he?s at school these hours! They told me I have to go to different town. Also so many problems which I can?t solve on the phone. I?ll definitely close all the bank HSBC accounts, other banks are much better.

I've banked at this branch for just over 20 years, my parents even longer, always been a good experience. Yes they are busy at times, short staffed etc - but what public service isn't?A little patience or forward planning goes a long way to having a visit run smooth, especially with life as it is at the moment.Just looked to check the opening times so that I can plan my visit...Stay safe ?

Staff were really rude and shows discrimination towards me even though I have both business and personal account with this branch from last 5 years, they were never helpful for what I need. Even after paying business charges every month I prefer depositing cash in local post office because staff in branch don?t treat customer very well. From past one year they restricted the use of Hsbc customers car parking area I don?t understand why. It like completely discrimination branch, Staff needs training in customer service.

I visited the branch this morning staff was very rude, they are incompetent and have no respect for the customers. Have been living in the town for many years, we never found them friendly and helpful, may be because of my colour. Would rather bank somewhere else just because of incompetent staff & not helpful.

Went in to make a payment nobody at the desks so went to the back and 2 ladies sat at counter one came out to try and help half an hour trying to make a payment and told would have to come back as 1 staff off sick and 1 on lunch and had no more time to make a payment as was only taught how to do a transfer a few hours ago manager was disinterested in what was going on appalling

Cannot get in touch with bank tried phoning numerous times and always customers waiting over 6 minutes to speak to someone, being at work and trying to sort something out fast is impossible. Joke !

From day one staff have been unhelpful.
Arrived on a Saturday morning 30min before they closed just to update address and reopen Account with proof of address as well as deposit 500 pound. I was told that they close in 30 and want to go home so can't help me I need to come on monday. All in all it took five minutes. Little did I know it was not actually processed on Saturday. Now Tuesday still no feed back. So I'm sitting here waiting for account detail and to confirm my account is active. 18min and still waiting..... Im leaving.
